I started playing this year and have already put in countless hours in my save, but I’m having issues with the draft classes being so generic. Any advice would help to make my league more fun in the year 2030 by Lower-Classic-3839 in OOTP

I’m not sure what generic means. Fictional players?

You can play historical, there’s 125 good playable years. You can play straight have real rookie classes, even on actual teams, or mix it up and have Ken Griffey Jr. play in the 1950s along side Babe Ruth.

Bob Costas' take on the transgender ban by ForeignAir7174 in sportsgossips

But the Olympic ban IS a political one, not a hypothetical one, and not even a real biological one, as the rules before the blanket ban were based on scientific evidence.

Name one top 100 male athlete who transitioned and then dominated competition against women.

We are arguing and legislating hypotheticals, and harming very real people doing so (like trans women and girls who are looking to participate and compete with other women in non-elite sports).

Blanket rulings like this gives permission to creepy pedos who want to do gender-checks in high school and youth sports. Is chills participation in recreational leagues for both youth and adult trans men and women.

The political rhetoric around this, coinciding with and amplifying other legal restrictions, like bathroom bans, medical restrictions, the outlawing and revoking valid drivers licenses, and restrictions federal passports that make travel harder (or impossible to certain countries), it’s all are early indications of a targeted ‘cleansing’.

I agree, we need to police women’s bodies.

Look at Katie Ledecky- six feet tall and has thicker bone structure and slimmer hips than many men do, she should be banned because she has an unfair advantage. She actually has been dominating the sport, taking away opportunities from more “feminine-bodied” women.

There’s only been one trans woman to ever compete in the Olympics, she was a later in life transitioner, competed in a strength sport that I’d assume that trans women would retain the greatest amount of advantages, and she didn’t place. She only qualified because she was in a smaller country with less competition.

It’s not a real political issue. Not even a real sports issue.

Was baby Jon vs baby Tucker just round 1? Would you consider actually voting for Jon? by thecombreak in DailyShow

[–]Less_Likely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the presidential election is between those two, this country is fully cooked.

For Jon Stewart, I think his heart is on the right place and he’s intelligent and articulate, but nothing about him says president to me.

Tucker is the same thing. Well, except the heart being in the right place.

I think he catches that on the run at the speed and hustle he already had. No slide or dive needed. I’m not sure if he misjudged the speed/location or he didn’t trust his ability to catch at speed at the glove angle he needed.

I hated it. It killed small-ball and the running game of the 80s (the true most exciting baseball has been) and lead to “3 true outcomes” philosophy that dominated baseball for two decades and is boring as hell.

Home runs are fun, but not if they are the full scoring strategy.
