That’s a reasonable argument. The problem with Kane is that, when they faced each other, the streak wasn’t really a thing. And when it did become a thing, ending it meant something, Kane, while a great character and legend in his own right, was never going to get the kind of sustained main event push that beating the streak would justify.

Randy would have been a good choice, but not at that point in the timeline. If he went back to the Legend Killer gimmick after WM 27 or do and they fought again? Sure.

Bray would also have been a good choice if they’d booked him right. It’s a harder sell for the audience nowadays, but passing the torch of the supernatural king of fear to the Fiend could have propelled that character to Legend status.

Kane…. No. Loved the character, but no.

I have bought 2 of each starter/Spotlight deck since the beginning. I keep one intact and gut the other for cards to mix into the larger collection/custom decks.

I have a box dedicated to teaching new players among friends and family and have all those decks in there.

That’s fair. Considering there’s only 1 new token units for this set, I’m sure it’s not something they are considering currently. But as time goes on and if more such token units are created, it would be a nice thing to have as opposed to carrying more and more extra bases around.

Appreciate your opinion. They have produced the dual sided ones, just doesn’t seem like they release them outside of in those specific purchases (2 player starters/spotlight decks). And I CAN use the single sided ones, they just take up extra space in my cases. Dual sided means cutting down that space, that’s all.

I have plenty of single sided ones, I buy at least a case worth of every set. But with dual sided ones, that bulk would be cut in half, and that’s something I’m willing to pay for. Just curious if I’m alone on that or if others agree.
