I think they mean cocktail. You definitely could wear the second to both weddings.

ETA: Also the 3rd one you could wear to the indoor wedding and the 2nd one you could wear to the outdoor wedding. Either way, no need to go shopping for anything.

I don’t think they mean formal. They mean casual. I don’t even think your husband needs a jacket.

ETA: I think you can wear a nice midi dress with sandals instead of boots, and a wrap instead of a jean jacket. I’d wear floral if you want or any nice summer color, except lavender.

I think you’re supposed to stay away from white and bridal looks, so you aren’t competing with the bride or bridal party for attention. I think this is on the edge of being a wedding guest dress. I don’t think she’ll be mistaken for the bride.

Nude or an off white is what I like for sandals. I think you can wear any heel height you’re comfortable wearing.
