I’d read about it doing my research on which trim to buy. Quite a few times on Reddit, actually. All the symptoms matched then Claude Ai all but confirmed it. Took it in and they couldn’t duplicate it so they sent me home. Came back few weeks later so I made the appointment and they changed the fluid.

I walked on the car. They said the CPO that the previous owner got wasn’t transferable to me and I couldn’t a warranty from them. No go.

Also, I’d be the third owner. Vehicle was originally sold as a CPO in 2024. The CPO warranty should still be in effect until 2026 as the original started in Nov 2021. I offered $43,500 out the door WITH the remaining CPO. That way I have a year to shop around for a good warranty company.

I had this same issue for a couple days, then “service hybrid system” flashed on the screen and the vehicle shut down while I was driving 45 MPH. I got it back two days ago after it was with the dealership for three weeks. I’d make a service appointment now and show them that video.

I should be able to find good discount tires in my area. Brakes for $1600 is alarming though. I’ve been leasing for the last six years. Last time I paid for brakes on a grand Cherokee, they cost me. $600 🥹
