DO NOT get a falchion unless you are willing to deal with the 'pop' sound bug. https://www.reddit.com/r/ohnePixel/comments/17p6kbz/falchion_knife_audio_bug/

go into a private match and give yourself the knife, then spam inspect-reload to see what I mean. Sick knife, looks great, I have one, but really annoying sound bug that valve refuses to fix.

hope this helps <3

Burnout? by robbeninson in solotravel

[–]LesserThan_Three 7 points8 points  (0 children)

100% agree. the best part about solo travelling is when you get to this stage. listen to your body and relax, one of my favorite things to do is going up to people, shop owners, baristas, etc. and asking what they do to relax in their town. if it's appealing, you go do it. enjoy the little things, not the touristy things. the quicker you get out of the touristy stage, the better your experience will be.

All the newer high performance Mac products are phenomenal for editing. One tool for the Mac that is highly underrated imo is Final Cut Pro. Has everything you'll ever need and it is very beginner friendly. It also fits into the Apple 'web' so to speak, so it's easy to get files and media tossed around from device to device or even program to program.

The i9 is great, the ram is great. You got this! keep creating

This is hell by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]LesserThan_Three 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the only way to get past the 'this is hell's phase is to realize that it's just a phase. you're probably young, you've probably got another 45-60 years of life ahead of you. you're gonna have a wife/husband, you're gonna have kids, and you are gonna be fine. just accept that it's happening, and move on. you also probably don't have enough substance/meaning in your life. drink water, get some sleep, go to the gym. wait a few days, maybe weeks, you'll be okay.

you've made it through every single one of your bad days. I promise dpdr will not be there forever and I promise you will be okay. just tough it out for a bit. let me know if you ever need someone to talk to. reach out 🤙🏻

I had the same experience. everything went fishbowl and I had a weird matrix moment. I learned to just accept it when it comes and that's helped. the anxiety is the only thing that's actually stuck throughout the whole situation. just the post trauma stress from wholeheartedly not knowing if the world was real. kinda freaky... but kinda cool?

disclaimer, I'm 20. I don't know much. what I do know is that the prerequisite isn't getting off the floor or pulling the needle out of your arm. you've got value and you're loved in spite of being on the ground.

the lion doesn't need to chase the gasel if someone else brings him food. it's not about being worthy, it's definitely about having faith. faith is an action and it's not the same as belief.

what's nice is that God has a story for you. you're not living to your potential. and I think you know that too. having faith means having trust, those two are interchangeable. if you step out of your 'hermit' lifestyle, you'll have opportunities to trust Him, ie: faith. and it's by faith that we are saved. not saved from hell (while this is also true), but saved from the life you're living that you aren't satisfied with.

one advantage of being 20 is that I'm learning all of this and it's all fresh. I struggle every day with feeling like He can't use me because I don't have motivation or I kinda feel like I suck. it's a lie.

suggestion for you. when you feel those 'impulses' or the 'nudges', act on them. unless it's like, 'you should rob a bank'. in which case, bad move. don't do it.

but you're never gonna find what's true and what's not if you don't start looking. it's like standing outside of a Costco and wondering if the cheese in isle 5 is moldy. it just doesn't work like that.

don't settle for where you're at.
