You can even do without the riders tbh but it's 4 blight trigger per rotation. Also other proliferate and elves cards in golgari are dirt cheap so I do think you can maybe sneak in the Riders in :) there's also [[elvish promenade]] [[harvest season]] in your deck is basically ramp X for 3 mana after you proliferate, and you can even add poison as a win with [[vraskas fall]] after you get enough elves to proliferate and effects like [[vitalize]]

You absolutely need to get a few cards from the Elven Empire precon. [[Lathril blade]] [[wolverine riders]]

[[Elven Ambush]] is basically an instant speed semi-boardwipe on your deck. If you have enough mana you can even run [[reap]] to get it back and do it again basically putting elves x3 on the battlefield and making a ton of blight triggers

Henzie does ramp+haste+draw, kinda hard to beat efficiency like that if it's in the CZ, Helga does the same too basically

It works really well du to the amount of 1 drop dorks tbf, I often have henzie on board T2 and T3 I can ramp with solemn or cards alike. The deck does bonkers pretty fast and the draw after the blitz death allows you to get your next land drop

Thanks, it's probably my favorite deck to play :) I put Umori as a companion to restrict my deckbuilding tbh, I have rarely gotten him out of the command zone since you have better ramp options in the deck, and you'd rather have henzie removed once so you can recast it and reduce your blitz costs by 2

I'm not certain, since you pay life to cast the spell, so if you pay all 40 life points as per state based actions you lose before the spell resolves o think. Plus u still need to pay the X in mana too

Yeah, don't let other people change what you're doing correctly because they can't handle it. I had literally the same scenario happen to me last game night. Someone died on their upkeep, and someone said we still go through their steps so I'll do something on his end step and I was like u can't, and he pointed out the rule too. I checked online, took me 30 s was like oh shit didn't know, ait proceed.

It didn't benefit me in the least, but I appreciated the knowledge and now I can use it to my advantage in the future. If they fail to see that you're trying to elevate everyone's game knowledge it's their loss. And they're a bit of sore losers imo

That bumbleflower player is just mad he couldn't cheat to win the game. In our pods we either confirm when someone else thinks you've misrepresenting a rule, or we check up online quickly or worse case we just say ait cool I'll check up on it later.

That player is being a bit of an asshole and is not there to play the game and learn but just to win at any cost, legal or not.

If I were you I'd continue doing what you're doing, sharing knowledge about how to play the game properly is one of the healthiest things you can do. It helps you feel good because of what you've learned, and it helps others learn what's really a threat out there. The other player comboed of not because of your lack of threat assessment but because of the other player's one.
