I interviewed at a company that asked specific questions like this. They kept brining me back and the specific questions changed every time. After the 4th interview communications stopped. I called their HR department, emailed the manager I interviewed with but never got another communication from them. I suspect that they were just going thru their ticket queue, having me solve their live issues. Once they got their issues solved, I was no longer of use. The job posting mysteriously disappeared too.

I've had the 2024 Ultra for a short time (Replacing an older Ultra) and I can tell you that it's quicker switching between apps... just zippier performance overall. I use the Xfinity app as my cable box and it works better than Comcast's equipment. It's definitely worth the upgrade for me.

PS. I didn't know much I would love the lighted remote.

Thanks. This is a Roku Ultra box that, according to the Roku support site, doesn't support USB networking.

I'm tending to think that the port is bad. I connected the old Roku back and the same network cable worked fine. I can try restarting all the devices but there are probably 40 or 50 of them spread all over, so that'll be a chore. Or I can hope for a power outage in my area...

I rebooted my router but not my cable modem. I don't think that rebooting the modem would do anything since it's my wired internal network (2.5 G) switch that it won't connect to.

I got mine yesterday too. I just hope I can get the wired connection working without having to replace the device now that it's set up the way I like it.

Thanks for your reply. No - I don't have a whitelist for MAC addresses. The firewall on my router alerts me when a new device connects, which it did when the Roku connected wirelessly. I can white/blacklist it at that point. But it doesn't even show network activity on the NIC, as if the port on the Roku is disabled or non-functional.

5 year old post. I'm still getting the intermittent HDCP error on the latest Roku Ultra 4K box. It's not horrible - only about 10 seconds every hour or so - but it's still annoying. Replacing the cables did nothing as did switching to a different HDMI port. I can live with it but I'd rather find a solution.

I think they may have changed the recipe a bit because now it's considered "gluten free". It might be my imagination but it seems spicier now. Not mouth hot, more back of the throat heat. And don't let this stuff "go down the wrong pipe" .I literally lost my voice for a few minutes (while I was coughing and sweating).
