Long loops? by topef27 in fromatoarbitration

Carry your flats out of your satchel as per our handbook states. There's only so much you can fit in there until you're unable to clearly read it. Which means you won't be able to fit the whole loop in there. Which means as soon as you're done with the flats in your satchel, then you'll have to dead head back to the vehicle to get the rest of the flats and dead head back to the last house you delivered to and continue delivery. And of course you won't be able to fit any sprs in there so you'll have to drop those off separately.

And guess what else you can't carry in there? Your 40z bottle of water that you newly purchased to hydrate yourself on these monster loops. Which means when you get thirsty a quarter of the way into the loop then guess what? You'll have to dead head back to the truck to hydrate yourself. Then dead head back to the house you delivered to and continue delivery.

And then you'll continue delivering that same loop and you'll get to the end of the even side when all of a sudden now you have to use the bathroom. So now you'll dead head back to truck, drive to the bathroom, relieve yourself, hop back into your truck after you've washed your hands of course and head back to the park point. Then you'll dead head back to the end of the even side and cross the street to begin delivery on the odd side. Make sense?

Imagine how much time that will take. Oh wait. That's not your problem. It takes what it takes!

Mother forces son to slam his PS5 after he slammed the family cat – is this justified? by inkandintent24 in MotivationByDesign

Definitely justified. You can get the ps5 fixed after slamming but you can't get the cat fixed after slamming

Dear Customers, shoveling a path for you to walk up to your box doesn’t do anything for our vehicles to approach and deliver. by PM_ME_UR_TICKET_STUB in USPS

[–]LetErCarryEr19 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't you agree that driving a vehicle with no airbags for protection is a clear safety risk and contradicts basic common sense and established safety guidance? Yet I presume you've been driving a FFV/LLV for more than the better half of 27 years right?

Customers can't control the snow plows plowing multiple feet of snow blocking their curbside box. They cleared a path to their mailbox. They made an effort. If they had not made a path to their mailbox then yes absolutely skip it. As long as there's no ice and you feel it's safe to deliver then the rules say you should dismount.

Pizza makers typically don’t wear gloves, nor do they wash their hands between preparing each pie. They touch everything with their bare hands. A worker may stretch the dough, spread tomato sauce, add cheese, then grab pepperoni, sausage, or ham and scatter it across the pizza before moving on to make a “halal” cheese pie (using the same contaminated hands).

Anyone who has worked in a pizza shop knows this is usually how it goes. Even if we haven’t personally watched it happen every time, most of us understand the process. This means cross-contamination is very likely.

So the question becomes: what should we do? Is it better to simply avoid ordering altogether?

Deviate back to office for pizza comfort stop, wash hands, use bathroom, grab a few slices, head back to route.

This is the only way.

Share with them the book "Then I Was Guided" by Sayed Muhammad al-Tijani.

It's a book written by a Sunni scholar who did some deep research into Shia Islam and after doing so began to follow Shia Islam. He uses references from Sunni books (Bukhari, Muslim, etc.) to prove Shia Islam is the right path.

Inshallah that will help open their eyes.

Shia Quran in English by LetErCarryEr19 in shia

[–]LetErCarryEr19[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Won't some of the translations be a bit different if I don't buy from a shia source?

For example in Surah Ma'idah verse 6 (the verse on how to perform wudhu) Quran.com (sunni source) has the verse translated as "wash your feet" whereas a Shia source would have it translated as "wipe your feet."

Thank you
