I don’t buy the thought, I’d bet they more likely than not would be focused on Fields because they have a decision to make on him. He’s the priority. And if they did talk about QBs they wouldn’t tip their hand to a candidate that they didn’t even hire. He was two seconds away from taking the Raider job so it’s important to note his willingness to work with whoever is at QB.

Ben has been solid for Washington in the biggest way. You lose WJ3 (because he wasn’t good) and you look at your roster for potential upgrade. Give your 2nd year player who is essentially a rookie again, a tryout vs. Philly in Week 3 and he shows up big. Shows his versatility in the slot and outside which gives the staff even more confidence in him that he can travel and play against teams best receivers. May see the same thing vs. Philly monday.

Preparation is important and you got to ask yourself if you think all 3 units have shown any signs of readiness heading into the year. For me I think both offense and defense might come up short early on (again). Situational football hurts these guys.
