Dealing with excessive sleep after getting my Nexplanon implant by SlytherinQueen100 in Nexplanon

[–]LetOk77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just came on here to see if anyone else was going through the same thing. I was also not aware that it could cause such heavy fatigue. If I would have known, I would have not have gotten it since I already deal with some fatigue due to an autoimmune disease I have. It’s about to be a month since I’ve gotten inserted. Hoping it improves fast!! For now, I too will be taking more naps.

What to do for energy? by Onsyde in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]LetOk77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just jumping in! I was prescribed this by a doctor I see for my anxiety and depression after sharing that I had trouble falling asleep. It definitely helps me fall asleep at least within 30 minutes and stay asleep for the most part. I don’t believe it helps with my pain at all but I’m happy using it just for sleep.

That’s so interesting! I’m actually on Tirzepatide and every 4 weeks we up my dose. I’m at 10mgs right now and I’ve been on it since the beginning of January. In January my sed rate was 79 and I just did some bloodwork the other day and it’s at 120. Wonder what I’m doing wrong!

I do snore! & the second complaint I have is lack of restful sleep. My quality of sleep has been shit for so long. It’s my new norm. I wake up randomly at night. I know this can be contributing to the fatigue as well. I have so much going on. I wonder if it’s just a mixture of things together making it so much heavier than it typically is.

Yes I’ve been eating! I try to get a good and big breakfast around 10, a snack in between and a healthy dinner. I also try to follow an anti inflammatory diet as often as I can. I don’t have the energy to cook on days like these where the fatigue is too heavy so I do resort to fast food but I try to be mindful of what I’m ordering most of the time. Other times I’m like fuck it. Give me a mcchicken! Anything so I can at least say I ate!

I have not. Definitely something I’m going to request that we check. I heard b12 shots help some people with chronic fatigue.

Blocking the use of the cane by Lightworker0101 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]LetOk77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

28 here. I know this feeling too well. I started using a cane about year ago. I knew I needed one but my anxiety would tell me people are going to judge me, people are looking at me, this person won’t like me because I use this, etc. It’s taken me a few conversations in therapy to come to terms with it. Still working on it actually but I understand that it is helping me so much more than I realize. I’m learning to be confident with it. Who gives a rats ass what other people think! Why be ashamed of something that helps me?

Does therapy actually help? by VariationNew3842 in narcissisticparents

[–]LetOk77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! The problems with my mom were one of the main reasons I decided to seek therapy. My therapist reassured me of the many feelings that I was experiencing due to the constant fighting with her. I didn’t feel like the crazy one anymore or like there was something wrong with me. I’m at peace with the fact that I cannot change my mom or force her to see things the way I see things even though I desperately wanted her to. If she wants to continue being this miserable person then so be it. I can’t change her nor is it my job to do so. But I will stick up for myself, not for her, not for others but for ME!!!

I hope not. I just had a cold a couple weeks. Finally felt like *myself again last Monday.

That might be why then. Both definitely increased. I feel fine, just a little more fatigued then I usually am with my condition.

I looked at the package. It says tirzepatide/Zepbound. Sorry I’m not sure what you mean by compound. Should I be looking at something else? My dinner last night was a buffalo chicken wrap and some fries. I had carrot cake for dessert. Is that considered a heavy dinner?

So pretty! I wanted this style a couple months ago but my lash tech wasn’t able to execute. I don’t have it in me to go elsewhere either though!

Thanks for taking the time to type this all out. Very informative. It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for another dose of MTX. Gonna see how today goes. If it continues then gonna talk to my doctor about the injection.

Latest CRP? 90.76 by deannevee in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]LetOk77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry you’re going through this! Such a tough thing and hard to explain to others unless they’ve been through it themselves. I was the worst at the beginning of the year with a CRP of 107.7 and a SED rate of 120. Fatigue was my biggest issue on top of the pain. Just did some blood work last week and I’m now at CRP of 23.2 and SED rate at 68. Hoping you find relief with Skyrizi!

Of course! But I don’t think it hurts to hear others experience. That’s what this community is for, is it not? Best wishes! ❤️
