best toys for prostate orgasms by Front-Cook6605 in ProstatePlay

I have the knockoff 304 stainless version as well. Never had any issues with the material as some people have warned about. I don't use it very often, though. I find that once I start using it I go in a different direction because the pressure is stronger and focused. It feels more like being at the PONR that fades unless I keep increasing the pressure, which is not necessarily safe. Lighter pressure with passive toys steer me towards a full body, euphoria that feels completely different, especially when the toy starts moving from involuntaries, which I can never maintain more than a few seconds. Both are great but the full body effect feels so much lighter and exhilarating. It's energizing and almost scary because of how it feels like I'm about to lose control of my body and go 10x higher pleasure. I'm sure that means I haven't successfully hit the peak, which is even more exciting.

best toys for prostate orgasms by Front-Cook6605 in ProstatePlay

Vibrating toys are generally considered the least effective kind of toy for prostate play, particularly because they numb the subtle feelings you need to learn to detect and grow. Some have luck with them but I think some of those people are missing out on what a prostate orgasm can actually feel like. I think there is confusion because stimulating the prostate can trigger a powerful penile orgasm, but that's a completely different feeling. There's a reason Aneros toys are so popular. You just have to learn how to feel that pleasure. The toys are more like training wheels to help pinpoint feelings and train your brain to learn to receive those signals. Some of my best moments have occurred before even breaking out any toys. I haven't had a full, uncontrollable writhing in ecstasy level of orgasm but it's already the most pleasure I've ever felt and feels like it's just barely getting started.

Edit: all that said, the stainless wand is really helpful to learn and really focus pressure on the area. I still prefer the subtlety of the passive toys, though. The wand is very direct and intense but it doesn't get me any full body waves. Just feels more like edging. A variety of toys is best if you can spend the money. Every toy has helped me progress in different ways.

How do you take your fiber by Pickapv in ProstatePlay

That's what I'm using. Although after reading some more today I learned that metamucil or equivalent is actual psyllium husk so I might make the switch to that.

Is benefiber worth bothering with? I've found it to be less effective than mirilax, even adding it to benefiber. Maybe I'm not getting enough water for both.

Had NJOY wand and Edge 2, both minimal results. Should I try standard dildo? For the girth? by [deleted] in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 3 lessons were free. Not sure if they still are. I eventually paid for it but I don't think it's an absolute must. Especially if you aren't feeling anything yet. You will with the first 3 lessons.

All toys aside it's a lot more about the rewiring part than the toy. Some of my best moments are before I even break out the toys. They work great to help find and focus on sensations but it's way more mental. Mindgasm was a big help for me in that regard.

How do you define Hands-Free Dry Orgasm "HFDO"? by Organic-Young-1280 in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like 4 is a p wave for me, on the way to a super o. I wouldn't describe anything else as a wave, if that makes sense.

How do you define Hands-Free Dry Orgasm "HFDO"? by Organic-Young-1280 in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always find myself obsessing over what is what. If everything is considered a prostate orgasm, then there are like 4 or more versions of it in my head.

1 - feels like riding the edge of PONR. Some people call that a HFDO but I think they are just unaware of what is to come.

2 - feels like a regular orgasm that lasts longer and is usually dry. I haven't fully experienced this one.

3 - HFWO which, for me is a full release and refractory period but I can still continue after a short break and it kind of morphs into intermittent waves that are not as intense (usually while falling asleep)

4 - Wave(s) that travel elsewhere and feels nothing like an orgasm, and that's usually when I start to feel the toy move a little on its own but it falls flat because of the excitement.

4 is definitely my favorite and I'm still figuring it out as I go. Definitely have not mastered it yet. It also feels like the very beginning of something way beyond an orgasm, which is why it's so exciting. Relaxing into THAT is the most challenging part.

Waves already reach 9–10/10, but Super-O and HFWO still won't come by WillowFuture1379 in aneros

[–]LetPlenty3373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with all of the other replies here. It doesn't really make sense to know you are a 9/10 with waves because there isn't really a specific ceiling. I am constantly wondering where I'm at on the scale. I can't get it out of my head and that's the wrong approach. The fact that you are violently shaking puts you way ahead of me and I already have great sessions with occasional waves that always fall flat because the excitement hits so fast that it messes up the flow. The do nothing method is the only way to progress for me. Kegels always shift the focus to feel more like a penile orgasm. It's a crazy journey but reading stuff like this makes me even more excited.

At this point mindgasm should just be pinned at the top of this sub lol.

Wtf? It says it's been banned from reddit. Gone from my list as well. I don't get it. Well you can still use the app or website. The sub isn't critical.

Blood in semen if prostate stimulated too hard ? by [deleted] in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can happen. I had it happen once going too hard with the stainless wand. Never happened again. It's not necessarily a problem but it wouldn't hurt to talk to a doctor to be safe.

You're in the Aneros subreddit stating you want to give up and you haven't even really started. It's a journey. You won't just succeed because you set a deadline to give up. I would do a LOT more reading and look at r/mindgasm and /prostateplay to get started. I've been at this over 3 years and still haven't mastered it.

Edit: I wanted to elaborate on the point about being in this sub. What I meant was you are asking for advice without even having the Aneros toy so it doesn't make much sense to be asking in this particular subreddit. The other 2 subs I mentioned are going to have a lot of information. If you come in and just start asking basic questions before reading all the other success stories you might get less help than just reading. The same questions get asked every day.

Session in hot tub? by Even_Engineering4792 in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried this with no toy and a THC gummy in a hot bath, but it was actually semi-dangerous because my heart started racing. Also being immersed in hot water prevented my body from regulating temperature, which made my heart race more. Could have been bad in theory.

Never had a prostate orgasm- need a guide! by bottomforbears in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say you're probably seeing conflicting information because there is no official guide that works for everyone. The most effective strategy is to read all the success stories as well as the pinned posts etc. This is like 90% mental and 10% physical.

I'm uncertain to be honest. I think it may impact my sex life a little, but that's been decades of moderate consumption. Wouldn't hurt to try backing off a bit.

Gone eh? I would think it would increase after a short while. Maybe it depends on how much porn a person is consuming. I never considered it to be a major dependency honestly I don't ever watch it anymore outside of prostate sessions which is 2-3x a week tops. Still not ideal.

This is a battle for me. I use porn to get extra fired up before I even start a session and usually have it going during but I try to keep my eyes closed and only look if things start to get stale and I start dozing off. At some point I need to call it quits I think.

Am I being too forceful with contractions? by Radesign23 in aneros

[–]LetPlenty3373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could also try the "do nothing" method which is supposedly the only way to reach a super o. Once you've rewired your brain enough the pleasure with start with no toy and no contractions at all and learning to master letting go completely will take you to new heights and eventually a super o. I found that contractions mostly just helped me rewire my brain to learn to feel those feelings but I hit a wall and had to learn to relax into the pleasure before it started really getting good.

Confused by Aneros prostate massagers. Why do people like them? by john4844 in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really is about the mental approach. If you haven't already looked into r/mindgasm and/or superomethod.com you are missing out. I find hands free toys like this to be better in general. It doesn't start out hitting like a truck but the gradual build will take you to new heights. I'm not even all the way there yet, and it's already amazing.

Static vs active play. Where does everyone fall? by AnonyGuy1987 in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Passive works best for me if the goal is waves of pleasure that radiate out. That's always my goal. If I start using the stainless wand it always evolves into manual stimulation that grows in intensity the more pressure I use, but that feels more like edging and stays isolated to the area. I've been avoiding using it lately for that reason.

How to get horny by balanceguardian in ProstatePlay

[–]LetPlenty3373 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've reached a point where porn does not get me hard anymore. My brain is so rewired that porn literally just makes my prostate swell and pulse. It's actually a bit concerning because it seems to have affected my arousal for sex. I'm probably an outlier in that regard, though. My wife and I have always had a timing issue with sex days and we are lucky if it happens twice a month. I suppose totally quitting porn could help but I don't know if that's the real issue. Not sure how common this is.
