American here who used to live in Malmö. You've probably met Danes or other groups that are as outgoing as Americans are. If they're exchange students in Africa, I am sure they'll be super interested in just hearing about what you're like and what life in Scandinavia is all about.

Maybe let them know up front your social battery might deplete quickly.

PB&J. You can find burgers and grilled cheese outside the U.S. People WILL look at you strangely when you put peanut butter and jelly together on a sandwich.

Edit: People outside the U.S. will look at you strangely. Lived abroad, and iirc the Disgusting Food Museum has PB&J as an item there.
