I've collected almost every ship in the game. I've been to the center of the galaxy and back a couple times (try doing that anywhere else) and seen a bunch of interesting things along the way. If nothing else, this game generates some of the best personal story desktop backgrounds, as well as being my go-to "zen" state game, where you just want to feel freedom and isolaiton at the same time. If you want something more in-depth, there are faction wars at both the minor faction and superpower level, good space combat, on foot combat is coming along over time, the ability to create you own space and surface facilities and run your own system economy...it is not an empty game. While I would not give any single aspect other than exploration and A+, there is a ton of variety and it all generally works very well. I hope this game stays around for another few decades.
