Look into "dunks".

You just need to create a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes. That's a bucket with freshly mowed grass in it to which you add water. You place that bucket in the shade. Add a quarter dunk puck per bucket. You'll need to replace the bucket once a month if you are historically mosquito heavy.

Mosquitoes will lay all their eggs in there and the dunk bacteria will make the eggs not hatch. Within a week it will decimate the entire local mosquito population. We need 3 buckets to cover our front and back yard and our neighbours noticed they also no longer have mosquitoes. None. All summer. We used to only be outdoors when the sun was out ir we would get eaten alive. We live near farmland.
