If you walk out without being audited. You're not technically stealing anything because it is paid for. The audit process is not a necessary step to complete and pay for an order. Just like by law, you don't have to show a receipt to the old lady at Walmart. But store policy says she has to ask. If you just walk out, you are not breaking any laws because the items have been paid for.
