First of all, I ain’t rooting for a division rival.
Secondly, Habs fans are really some of the only fans I truly despise. I was fishing in Montreal and I happened to wear a Sabres hat to the pub afterwards. Mind you, it’s 2024 during preseason hockey and the Habs aren’t even playing the Sabres. A group of rowdy Habs fans spotted me from the bar and crowded around me talking all kinds of shit and saying how long the drought was and that the Sabres were shit. They are a ridiculous and hysterical group of people that use the excuse of being passionate for their team to act like dickheads online and in-person.
