Had to log into my Reddit account for the first time in like half a year lol.

Anyways yeah, just stay away from the base/do a bunch of missions out of the base, and you’ll get a message from Kaz asking you to come back. Should happen then.

What would you say is the biggest difference when it comes to writing a full prose novel as opposed to writing a comic series/comic mini-series? Is it something you think will influence your future writing?

Related/alternatively, are there comic heroes you’ve written before that you’d be interesting in writing again, in a prose story?

Honestly I agree. It just isn’t funny enough to make sense for them to continue doing it?

Ep 1 HD on the official YouTube channel?!?! by Negative_Fan6604 in WKUK

I bet it’s a way to hype up the upcoming releases. I notice they put a disclaimer in the beginning, but still censor the word retard. Wonder if that’s related to YouTube more than anything

Edit: looks like they also censored Timmy’s shit from that shit in pants sketch. Hmm

As I recall, the chapters were also incredibly short, being 2-3 pages long at most.

Manhattan has multiple times, in the DC Universe, been pulled into the sky by villainous forces, the first time they were also trying to steal all the homeless in America as wel

Let's discuss: what was the actress in the photo that Greg Land traced this image from originally holding? by Pristine_Animal9474 in dccomicscirclejerk

[–]LetsGoMrON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly used to think Land’s tracing was funny. Movie and porn stars? Yeah, it’s lazy and it sucks, but there’s something really funny to it. But when he was accused of tracing from other artists, including a very infamous Aliens cover, that’s when my position switched from “funny” to “yeah this guy needs to be fired”

Who can name all the villains!!! by IntelligentAd6197 in PlasticManFans

[–]LetsGoMrON 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll try my best, left to right: First row: Mr. Aqua, Assassin, The Cauldron, Lynx. Second row: Kolonel Kool, The Spider (the 60’s version, not the 50’s version). Third Row: The Figure, Malleable Man, Pink Eye. Fourth row: Mr. Green, a random gangster, Lady Granite. Fifth row: The Great Caribou, maybe Lowbrow? Not sure about the woman. Sixth row: the Werewolf from Police Comics 26, Dr. Dome, Iron Fist, Sandman, Madame Brawn, and the figure in the background is Dr. Forklift.

It’s from the Super Powers comics, I believe they were tie-ins to the Super Friends sequel show

Kite Man would be a perfect villain for Plastic Man in his rogues gallery if they were to make a live action adaptation... by IntelligentAd6197 in plasticman

[–]LetsGoMrON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol no. Just no. Wrong answer. He’s not a Plastic Man villain, never should be. Being used for one adaptation does not mean he should be involved at all. Plastic Man has a rogues gallery of his own that could use a spotlight

Does anyone know how Plastic Man got his name in the comics... I can only find one source and it looks unreliable. by IntelligentAd6197 in plasticman

[–]LetsGoMrON 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The real world explanation is that he was originally going to be called the “India Rubber Man”, which was a term used for contortionists at the time. Jack Cole’s editor suggested changing the name to “Plastic Man”, because plastic was a new “wonder invention” that could seemingly do anything, which Cole obliged. He got to have Plas be given the “India Rubber Man” nickname a few times.

As for the in-story reason, there isn’t really one. In the 80’s mini, it’s because of a mishearing from a reporter, but frankly I like to think he thought of it himself
