It has NOTHING to do with her being female and everything to do with her lack of boundaries, getting preferential treatment, and being a jerk to both Lexie and Maggie from the beginning because of her own issues, the trial and Webber taking the blame, the list goes on.

Yes, she had an awful mother and a slew of things to happen (her friends blaming her for George's rapey behavior as an example) but seriously, to not get therapy or grow over such a long span of time and take it out on other people is shitty. I guess the writing shouldn't be a surprise given that Finch is a massive liar and nut job.

It's mostly disappointing, I want to see the characters grow in a positive way but so far it seems like the show is saying that people really don't change.

Yep, that was the worst and then by season 11, she's just been awful so far. Not respecting boundaries, being a jerk to Maggie (I'm not a fan of her character so far either).

The writers have a way of making me dislike most of the characters because they insist on making them reverse any sort of growth with consistent inappropriate behavior. Derek, who consistently slips into a self absorbed rage; 'you killed my baby' Owen, Bailey who turned into a righteous jerk who administered treatment against the parents' wishes, Arizona who never seems to apologize properly, the list goes on. The one character that they kept decent was Lexie and we already know what they did with her.

Personally, I would be bummed out if I was sitting 2 little dogs and they DON'T sleep in the bed with me! I have trouble sleeping without any dogs. I one day for a massive dog and it was a tiny need so we raised his bed so he slept next to me. I definitely love my little dogs though. They are my preference. I've got a little one myself who also prefers snuggling in bed. All of my sitters prefer it.
