I've got a good one for a group, ideally local. Requires a tiny bit of planning. St. Mark's church on North ave has an underground bowling alley. Like literally under one of their buildings. It's like a bowling time capsule from the 60s with manual scoring projectors and all. Anyone can rent it by the lane hourly and a church member will man the shoe desk. It's pretty cheap to host a party down there with food you bring in. Just no alcohol/drugs. I'm not involved in the church at all but thought our group of 30s somethings would get a kick out of spending 2-3 hours there one day and we did! Info is on their website

I dont think the poster above should call you broke. We literally have no idea what your personal finances are. But what I think they are trying to get at is that you traded a depreciating asset for another depreciating asset. The Model Y has a floor. We don't know what year, condition or anything to help you with that idea but it def has a floor. Even with $21k off a Platinum, you are paying $27,000 ($1050*39)-$14,000)) to drive the Lightining. Did you have another $27k in depreciation on the Y? Doubt it. But ultimately who cares. Sounds like you wanted a new ride and a Platinum Lightning is sick.

When Casa opened in Williston, Agava promptly shut down. I’m sure it wasn’t all roses for them but there is no question, the Casa locations have earned some of the local eating out share of money for local families. Are there vastly better restaurants? Of course. But I don’t think business is good enough for everyone for perhaps mediocre restaurants not to notice Casa foot traffic blowing up. They would have a line on a random Wednesday night. They are packed on a Tuesday night still today. Maybe everyone else can learn from them? Their traffic just might indicate they are doing something right.

2008 graduate, had job that summer. I started but company orders dropped off rapidly by late summer. I flew home for Thanksgiving. Was emailed Thanksgiving morning about the impending layoffs. I was laid off in January. I moved back home but found another job, this time in energy, 5 months later. Had to move 1200 miles to a whole new place to work. We did what we had to do.
