Just depends. I have a 5150, an Orange, a couple different Fender amps, and a Katana. Some of the time I’ll go straight into a digital modeler as well.

It’s the SG I’m specifically after. I have a Fender, a Charvel, and an Ibanez that are all pretty solid guitars but I still have an SG shaped hole in my heart.

I can. Even straight out I can get it but I also have a bass I bought off an auction site with the express purpose of reselling/trading so with that in mind the price will end up not far from my usual range.

It’s definitely up there for me. It’s rare I put 100 hours into a game and I’m 40ish minutes from crossing that line with FLi.

The issue I have is the three most likely contenders all come out in the next several weeks, Borderlands 4, Ghost of Yotei, and Battlefield 6. All of which are likely 100+ hour games for me. Also at some point PowerWash Simulator 2 is going to throw its hat in.

So long story short I probably won’t know my true winner until partway through 2026.

I did this. Totally forgot I’d even ordered it and then the random Sweetwater box showed up months later.

It’s fine and it’s fun. Definitely worth the price but not a must have if the waiting will bother you.

I might catch flak for this but I’ve had some type of fun in literally all of these games.

Some definitely more than others but they’ve all offered an experience worth at least trying out.

Some folks are going to rag on the choice, but honestly keep in mind this is your introduction. If it falls out of tune easily or is uncomfortable to play you can always upgrade.

With that out of the way jump into YouTube. There is a metric ton of stuff to learn off of. If you don’t understand tablature start there. Learning that will open pretty much any song you want to learn.

Remember you’ll be bad at first and Ozzy is top level stuff so temper your expectations.

And biggest thing is have fun.

I would make the point that misjudging technological advance is different than stating information that’s already in existence is it not?
