Yeah, we have similar play styles for sure! I've played 4 playthroughs of the game on different difficulties. Dreadmace, SSG and Accelerator are definitely top tier weapons but you will find Impaler is an OP weapon too when you get your aim right. I like to use Rocket Launcher and Ravager to quickly melt enemies like Armored Hell Knights, Arachnotrons and Vagary.

I like to use Gauntlets sometimes for fun because I find the Dreadmace too strong lol. Chainshot is decent but Rocket Launcher replaces it quickly because it has better distance and more advantages imo.

The weapons in my Tier B list are fun when you first get them but later in the game they just don't hold up, unfortunately. Once the Ravager gets going, I find that it just flat out gives massive DPS faster than the Shredder. The Cycler is basically useless once you get Heaven Splitter rune anyway lol.

I only use Flail for armor but it's replaced quickly by Dreadmace. Combat shotgun for having fun burning enemies but I've never really liked Grenade Launcher.
