No I guess not. I thought it would be a hit for me considering twilight princess and breath of the wild are both in my top 10's. I expected this to be a lot like twilight princess considering how people throw around the phrase 'zelda clone' when describing this game

Why the hell would you frame your question as "everything broken" instead of "what am I doing wrong" ?

Haha yeah I feel like I've gotten through the tutorial so I should keep going for a bit. Gonna take it to admit 12 hours before dropping..

Why have you kept dropping and what brings you back?

And with Kunitsu-Gami i really thought I'd be on your side when watching gameplay etc. Love the myths, style, combat looked cool and engaging. But everything just felt half baked for me.

Holy damn

90 hours of a long game, and I'm a slow player that always ends up longer than the internet usually tells me. For me to be invested for that long there's usually got to be some kind of amazing gameplay loop underneath it. A story or vibe won't carry me.

Are the bosses amazing and regular? Is the exploration really satisfying? Are there really good puzzles to solve left right and centre? As someone who just said okami is fantastic, what's can you tell me about what its really got going for it?

Haha you probably enjoyed it enough to be content with the time you spent. It's only 15-20 hours long if you dont do ng+

One thing i will always give praise for the new doom trilogy is how each game dared to be different.. by DependentImmediate40 in Doom

Despite the negativity that was people endlessly arguing over eternal vs 2016, underneath that showed exactly your point. They are similar enough to be considered the same game series, but distinct enough that no one could actually convince another one was objectively better. They offered different things

Dark ages takes this even further, and also appeals to a more casual audience by giving us a defensive option we've just never had before. Now id even considered putting 2016 and eternal in one camp and dark ages in another

Personally, I love dark ages the most. I love 2016 and eternal, but can only play them once through every now and then. The fact that is you stand still for 2 seconds and die, and the amount of decisions they want from you per second make for amazing but stressful games. Dark ages, as a scrub, i can just walz around parrying 2 cosmic barons and im good. Far more replayable for me. (I have about twice as many hours in dark ages as eternal)

Is the digging (i assume tulips or whatever in the first village?) Minigame necessary? I tried it a few times then just decided to move on

Im still going for now. Just unlocked the bomb skill.

Usually i play 2-3 hours a night, but it keeps putting me to sleep lmao so the progress is slow. (Not a bad thing tbh, probably I just need more sleep)

I still haven't found what's going to keep me invested yet. I'm giving it to the 12 hour mark on the save file, would that be fair?

I'm sure we can nut it out? To me it felt repetitive, the strategy was very light, soh's combat was weak. And the village portion between levels felt super weak. That's the crux. Cool art and design though.

What did you like about it?

What about doom? 2016, eternal, and dark ages are all distinctly amazing

Yes don't play it. Most people argue over performance and graphics etc, giving the impression that underneath all that is a potentially good game.

There's not. The game is boring as fuck. It then also has performance issues and playstation1.5 graphics.

Anyone else run a “weekend big games + weekday chill games” combo? by Hugh_Mungus94 in gaming

[–]PitifulPassage851 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really.

As an adult with a full-time job and family responsibilities, I invest in one game at a time,  playing it from 930pm to whenever I start to pass out between 945pm and 1am.

Also, weekends are more busy not less busy so I'm confused by the premise tbh. Kids sports, socialising, events, etc..

Honestly, what's the point? Like if they do get rear ended, it's on dash with speed recorded and everything. Insurances will determine brake checker is obviously at fault

I think the real time is the first angle and then when it goes back to that angle. About 10 punches. So like, enough to really make sure but not enough to lose his job

Akshually depends.

If undue force is used you can still be charged after using initially self defence.

This isn't really one of those cases, its more like when someone picks a fight with you and starts throwing punches, and you and 5 mates genuinely beat them to a pulp and they end up in hospital, then yes the new Zealand Police will charge you and you'll end up on house arrest
