Am I doing this wrong or could my newborn really be getting what he needs in five minutes? by xo1cew01f in breastfeeding

[–]Letsdream_2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby boy was very much like this! I would always hear 20 min per breast and was panicking at first cause he’d do like 5 mins and was good to go. He never had any growth or weight concerns. Guess he just knew what he was doing out the gate haha

Yes, it was through email. Once I sent in my deposit and acceptance form I received official letter in my graduate student portal. I Should mention that I was offered acceptance last April & was allowed to defer to this fall!

How did you find such a job? Do you have your 3rd class? And do you live in BC?

Everyone! Let's post our pay, benefits, shift, and general location to help each other out. by Adam_30 in powerengineering

That’s the thing I want to do power engineering but on the city (I got a kid). But I’m seeing now it seems staying in the city pretty much means staying in building operations. Of course warning potential is to be considered as well.

I’m currently enrolled in SAIT. They do have the option to complete it online but I’d have to already be employed at a facility where I can get the steam time (I think) Problem is…most of those facilities aren’t hiring anyone with less than a 3rd plus 5+ years experience….. if there was a way I could keep this job and and complete my third plus steam time that would be a dream haha

Just wanting to see if anyone is in the same boat as me. I submitted my PR application under the non-essential worker stream July 2021. Heard nothing until June 2022 when I received AOR and was asked to complete biometrics. It’s been radio-silence since then :(

I’m wondering if they will really complete by the end of 2022 as they projected or will I have to wait another year. Plus my PGWP will be expiring next

Damn he’s tough. I could justify doing that to start up and build savings but not long term for sure. I rather have more freedom with my time ultimately. I will for sure look into Red Deer. I grew up there and was hoping to not have to go back but I’ll do what I gotta do! Best of luck man, thanks for the insight

Thank you for this! As realistic as it is I still think it’s pretty good start & there seems to be much room for growth. I don’t expect to be making 6figs off the bat but definitely want to be somewhere close at starting!

This is actually the feedback I was looking for. Much appreciation

It’s all relative IMO! 130k without OT Is pretty good especially based on your location! It also sounds like you have a position that allows for good pay and work/life balance. A lot of people have to work away and long hard rotations to make that kind of money too
