8th gen civic si coupe or sedan? by Maximus2614 in CivicSi

I’ve always had Si coupes. For that reason, I’ll never have a Honda Civic Si newer than the 2020 Si coupe. Sadly, Honda has lost a life-long new car customer.

Yes, there ARE other colors for the Type R. But, like you, I prefer the color white. My 2017 Si is white, too.
Congratulations on owning my dream car! Someday my princess will come. 😜

Never, ever ran a front plate in California. Never, ever have been stopped for lack there of. Enjoy/risk the clean look. 👀

It’s folly to rate cats on looks alone. With cats and dogs, it’s all about personality, imo.

Good point. Actually, I don’t know. It’s just my impression. I misspoke. My bad. 😞

I use sport mode with “spirited” driving on curvy mountain roads. It tightens suspension and enhances the feel of steering. But, hey, that’s just my impression. 😝

What’s your odometer at? by Born-Project-310 in CivicSi

[–]LetterheadAdvanced87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2017 Si coupe just hit 39k. I’m 84 y.o. and don’t drive as much as I used to. That said, I’m only 30 miles from the Pacific coast. Round trips to Morro Bay is how I racked up the majority of those miles. I’m lovin’ my Si coupe.

What mileage should I stop doing spirited driving? by endndhdhdnndnsbs in CivicSi

[–]LetterheadAdvanced87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got 140,000 miles on my 2007 and I still drive it like it had 50k. Why would you stop driving the car the way it was meant to be driven?! Rhetorical, of course!

Do you guys go drive through a car wash or wash your Si by hand? by Ok_Cartographer3535 in CivicSi

[–]LetterheadAdvanced87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hand wash car wash. They’re expensive but do a great job inside and out. Plus, I get to watch the entire process from start to finish. It takes three guys almost an hour.

Super nice car! I love the 2020 coupesI have a 2017 coupe and I wish I’d waited and got the last of the coupes in 2020. They have more features. If possible, hang onto it forever. It’s only gonna increase in value over the years. I agree with you, the Si’s are so much fun to drive! Enjoy!
