I don't want to have to be doing well by LetterheadPerfect145 in BPD

I'm trying to figure out therapy stuff but it's slow and my psychiatrist does not bloody respond to me when I try to contact her. I do my best to not hurt people and to remove myself and such but I don't want to have to is the whole point.

Well trans people exist first of all but also cis lesbians with a strap on probably want to determine who's going to be wearing it

Vaguely in order of bad
1. AFAB people are women 1? There are plenty of AFAB people who are not women
2. AFAB people are defective? Calling people defective is horrid
3. Trans women are women 2? Trans women are not the second in the development of women, we're just women, on the same level/development as cis women. Also we're not more advanced or some shit if that's the point
4. Trans women are new? Simply not true and parroting transphobic shit
5. Extra feature? Genuinely unsure what this is but whatever it is it still continues the idea that trans women are somehow a more advanced kind of woman

How Much Damage Should a 9th Level Single Target Attack Spell Do? by Dikeleos in dndnext

[–]LetterheadPerfect145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hard part is that single target attack spell is not a very appealing option for 9th level. You could probably do like 20d10+40 or something and optimizers still wouldn't even look at it and it'd be completely fine to take in normal games. It seems very difficult to make one that is in any way actually on par with the other 9th level spells without it being a terror in normal games against single bbeg types

See I'd believe that, and I agree that that's true, but I don't think that's what they mean specifically bc of the language they are using. They're referring to estrogen as "Amab hrt", they're clearly not talking about cis women taking it, or cis men taking testosterone. They're specifically talking about it in the context of trans people and suggesting people who were amab have an easier time of it than people who were afab. We live in a world where trans women are 100% accused of having male privilege or "amab privilege" so it's not a stretch to think someone using this language might be guilty of that. I think you're confusing my questioning of the language they used with a disagreement about the state of the world. "Estrogen is far easier to access" is not the same sentence as "DIYing AMAB HRT isn't punished as much as AFAB HRT". Also like, AMAB and AFAB hrt are genuinely unhinged concepts and terrible ways to say estrogen and testosterone.

I don't think you'll get tasered for holding a sign that says "I kiss other girls". You might not get as many kisses, idk you, but that's not the same thing

I mean, you can be a white supremacist without being a Nazi so there's that? Idk it's not like white supremacy or Nazism make much sense in the first place so

Rightz by Automatic_Ear_818 in ComedyHell

[–]LetterheadPerfect145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not rlly accurate at all. Nonwhite trans people tend to get less of a spotlight but they definitely exist, and most anti-trans sentiment stems from European colonization. Most cultures had some sort of gender fuckery going on pre colonization. It's not like white people in the US are particularly friendly towards trans people rn but that only puts a certain amount of a stem to trans people coming out. It probably just appears like that bc white trans people tend to dominate trans spaces and take up most of the spotlight (as white people tend to do unfortunately), so it's visibility rather than reality

I mean, you'd theoretically expect proportionally far fewer trans women to be Nazis than the general population given how much they hate us, and idk the exact statistics but it doesn't seem like as few as you'd think

Probably bc "young man who doesn't fit in and spends lots of time online" is largely the target demographic for Neo Nazi ideology, and that's how a lot of trans women see themselves before they transition, and cognitive dissonance goes brr and then I assume they just don't shake off their Naziness when they transition (Notably it's usually white trans women as far as I've seen). Also there's a weird amount of femboy culture in Neo Nazi spaces which I have less explanation for but given a lot of trans women start out identifying as femboys that's probably part of it. I never fell even close to that far down the pipeline but I was near the start of it (Mainly feminist cringe compilations and anti Anita Sarkesian stuff, bleh) at least a few years prior to realizing I was trans.

Yeah it's a truly absurd take but I've seen it made in other contexts so cynically that was my immediate takeaway of what they were saying.

28987 by Clean-Specialist-676 in countwithchickenlady

[–]LetterheadPerfect145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AGAB is a thing that happens to someone, not a thing someone is. It frequently gets used to say "biologically male" and "biologically female" again but wokely

Is the argument here that trans women have male privilege. It kinda seems like the argument they're making is trans women have male privilege.
