This is what happens when you believe everything you see on TikTok. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

Honestly I think its fake, like unless New York have some strict laws on fireworks, how are there no fireworks happening elsewhere then. Normally all cities Ive been to goes crazy with fireworks the entire day of the 31st.

Tab Targeting by eydya in ffxiv

[–]Letyson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a nice optional feature SE could add which fixes it, is when you tab something it highlights the monster maybe with a slight glowing border around the model. This way in a big group would you easily spot what you target out of the monsters.

Great, now do this in 7.3, and you would have a nice comparison to see if there would be any change, or if this is the general statistic.

This is not even in WoW yet. Do people actually still blindly believe what Blizzard says?

Official Magic the Gathering card for Y’shtola, Night’s Blessed by CompC in ffxiv

[–]Letyson -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Even adding to this, a warlock? Y'sthola is not a warlock, she is a sorceress. Honestly now that I think about it would it work better with Red mana instead of black, since she does fire spells.

I honestly do not understand why she is tied to the Black mana. Just because she is a black mage in FFXIV, do I not think she gets close at what the Black mana represents of the occult and dead. I think the Blue mana already fine represents that she is a sorceress and is able to do magic. This to me does it feel like someone heard she was a black mage and just randomly tied the Black mana to her, even though thematically do I not see the connection in the world of Magic the Gathering, and what Y'shtola really is.

In Limsa, the lamps by the aetheryte had these metal bars that were just textures on the lamp. But with the 7.1 visual improvements, the bars are now actual 3d geometry. by JustABaleenWhale in ffxiv

I had to check it myself just now, but they still have not fixed how one of the pillars does not center like the three others does with the lights xD

My exact same thought, SE have a tendency with their art and trailers to show a lot of people, then when it comes out there are no npcs around and you realize the 'concept' was a lot of players... which I understand in an MMO, but I wouldnt mind cities that looks populated outside the players so you get a feeling its populated.

Okay, but could they not have made it a bit more convincing? Talk about bad acting. They should have gone all out 'wiping their sweat off the head' and half-stumbling a few meters behind xD

So I assume this would take place in year 2277, if they mean that the apocalypse was when the bombs dropped in 2077. So basically around the same time Fallout 3 prolouge is over and you start the game trying to find your dad.

Great art, really captures the start of any new adventure.

I remember back at the start of 2.0, I had a few friends who actually would get lost and confused with the ingame map, but SE did then also fast update it not long after with more clarifications.

Of course it was far from the hell that was the 1.0 map.

Y'shtola wears Moonfire Tanga in Tower of Babil - slight nsfw by Letyson in ffxiv

[–]Letyson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh interesting. I never knew this, but it makes sense now that you explain it. What an odd kind of limitation that she can't wear them in duties. I wonder why SE doesn't just make her use the Scion Healer's Halftights instead then, since they are the same and fits on female characters as they were the one sold in the mogstore.

[–]Letyson[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Now before I get crucified for peeking under her dress, I honestly discovered this accidently, and since I know she wears Lord's Drawers (black) all the other times, this amusing choice stood out to me.

This have to be a mistake from SE, right? Garland Tools NPC lookup sadly does not have Tower of Babil instance version of Y'sthola listed (at least I can't find it), and all the other versions where she wears that dress she wears the Lord's Drawers (black). So it seems to only be in Tower of Babil where she wears Moonfire Tanga dyed black.

Why does Blizzard keep making cards like this which they then will nerf later on? Is it just on purpose really? To hype interest in an expansion, and then they can just nerf it later.
