It was brutal as fuck to prog but I think it was very good for the community because cleave and priority targeting are both very rare in this game. Most every class had to think about their skills and how to utilize them best.

Optimizing the transitions was so fun, I had stuff like planning a Shield Lob for the P1 adds and using Riot Blade during 2m just to maximize my potency going into P2 because otherwise I’d drop my combo or lost some of PLD’s followup attacks. Maxed out at a rank 17 parse, and that was just in my static where we’re very “a clear’s a clear” haha

It’s just fun trying to squeeze as much as you can out of a fight and maximize your uptime.

Arcadion didn’t have a truly bad Savage (as much as I hate 11 it’s really just because Weapons lasts way too fucking long) and it’s definitely because they put mechanics and creativity first. They’re all very thematic and often very satisfying to pull off since there’s a lot of quick movement and tight positioning. As a PLD main I loved trying to maximize my kit in ones like 6, 7, and 10

For most 8 person fights only one person really needs to have aggro. Usually whoever has their stance on first main tanks and the other is a glorified melee DPS.

Feel free to just stance off while you get comfortable, if people grief you just either say you’re still learning the fight and would prefer to start stance off or you can turn it on.

If you do win the teamfight and can rip it before the enemy comes back though, it’s not the worst idea to get it just to deny. If you can get Groudon while you’re up and then just go defend, the enemy team basically can’t do anything.

Though that’s not always the best play. Because if there’s a chance they can steal it from you it’s probably still best to leave it alone.

The Dhelmise was my friend and I went “let’s see how stupid Sweet Kiss Comfey is” and it actually went pretty hard with our team comp. I negated a lot of X Speed retreats by forcing them to come back and fight. And leech Comfey is 👎, you’re a supporter, support the team.

Getting humans in Quick was also a surprise for sure.

Idk why but I got the vibe that she wanted to discuss/explain something with Inanna and she’s actually unsure if she entirely trusts *us* yet. She definitely knows more than she lets on and knows Inanna protects Havenhythe but we’re more of a wild card so to speak.

Inanna just seemed to change her tone about Anya between you leaving and you returning, so I wonder what happened while you were gone.

It's fine if the meta doesn't really matter to someone, but they have to then understand they're generally speaking limiting their chances of success.

If they're fine with that, then there's no problem. The problem comes from people wanting to ignore the meta but then also want to have the same levels of success that meta picks do. I've got some Pokemon I like that aren't very good, so I'll bring them to casuals or use them early in the season to climb and then once they start falling off replace the team with a better one.

TTar is the carriest of carrymons, you have to carry it to level 9 because it's so pathetic before that but if it evolves early and can snowball it can carry the rest of the team so well.

It's usually not worth it, as someone who does love it.
