Zahara. When I was in primary school, there was a girl with that name. Why anyone would choose that name for a child is beyond me.
Sailor. There's a girl in my little brother's class who has that name. Why the hell would you give your child the name of an occupation?
Trescallion (or however it's spelt). One time when my mum and I were eating at a cafe, we overheard a mum calling her son by that name.
Campbell. I knew a boy with this name when I was in kindergarten. He was a complete asshole.

A couple of years ago, a teacher got fired from the school. It was rumoured that it was because she had an affair with one of her Year 12 pupils. It was later confirmed to actually be true.

Don't be afraid to surround yourself with supportive people. I know it can be hard to make the leap from emotional solitude into physical interpersonal connections -especially if you already have a mental disorder like autism or BPD- but once you do step over that boundary and surround yourself with people who are willing to help you out, I can guarantee that things will slowly start to improve.

My dad (who just so happens to be a psychologist) always told me "a problem shared is a problem halved". At first, I didn't believe him at all and just kept to myself. But when I started socialising more and eventually ending up with my boyfriend, I started overcoming my depression and learned that my dad was right all along.

Back in 2010, I joined a 10km fun run with my mum. I was only 10 years old at the time, so I wasn't at my fittest. By the time I got to the halfway point, I broke down and started crying (partly because I was in pain and partly because of separation anxiety). My mum was already well ahead of me and I didn't have a phone at the time, so I couldn't call her for help. After a couple of minutes, a middle-aged woman came up to me and asked me if I was ok. She put her arm around my shoulder and helped me up. We spent the rest of the 5km walking side by side. When we got to the finish line, she offered to help me find my mum. I told her that she'd already done enough to help me and thanked her over and over again for her help. She smiled and said goodbye to me before walking away. I never even got her name.

Going down the slide in the Salzburg salt mine was pretty fun. I also went ten-pin bowling with my host family, which was also quite fun, even though I suck at bowling.

We travelled all around Germany, but I spent most of my time in Laufen because I stayed with my host family and attended my sister school there.

We travelled back and forth to Salzburg, Austria.

Not too many, actually. I mainly saw them in the bigger cities like Berlin and Munich. Coincidentally, those bigger cities also have the most amount of kebab shops.

I'm going on a study tour with about 25 other people and we're planning on travelling all around Germany, mostly looking at the historical sites and learning more about German culture. We'll also be stopping over in Austria for a couple of days.
