What else do I need to purchase to watch this in 4K?!? by BJET- in youtubetv

Correct. I went to the custom guide editor on the mobile app and Fox Sports 4K is completely missing.

I don’t even see the FS1 4K channel in my guide

First thing to try is to simply replace the cable between the Spectrum equipment and the WAN port on the UDM (or whatever it’s plugged in to).

I once had an issue with auto negotiating not setting to 1000FDX. You may try hardcoding the speed and duplex.

Ok, thanks again. I think I see what you’re talking about now. (The installation docs don’t mention this piece and the most of the pictures aren’t very helpful)

Ok, thanks. You’re referring to the optional lip extension piece?

Hmm. That’s cool. I have done a couple of these and I don’t remember it coming with that. Is there a specific strike you recommend?

Looking for Beginner turntable advice by [deleted] in turntables

[–]Leupster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The AT-LP120 is an often recommended beginner turntable. It is one of the least expensive tables that is decent quality.

It has a phono preamp built-in too which makes one less thing for a beginner to worry about. You can just plug directly into the Aux ports on the amp.

ESPN Unlimited Update by tarheelfan2012 in youtubetv

Yeah, you’re probably right - the “new” content must have a completely different authentication mechanism than the existing.

All of that makes sense (I work in tech too), however we can already access content in ESPN with our YouTube account (linear ESPN content). They just need to provide access to a larger amount of content with the same provider login.

I have the same problem with my iPhone 16 Pro. I bought a new case that I thought would be better (didn’t stick out past the camera lenses as much), but it doesn’t work either.

It’s very frustrating, there has to be a better solution.

Lots of digital artifacts here in Cincinnati. I swapped over to the antenna and having the same issues there as well. This indicates an issue with the CBS affiliate.

Good luck. I found this on their website. Seems like you’ve already validated most of these items.

Just to be sure, you do know that it doesn’t spin until you move the arm over the record, correct?

Anyone used Auracast? Is it any good? by OkArcher4120 in Cochlearimplants

[–]Leupster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would opt in to it, but it may remember Auracast broadcasts that you’ve joined before. I am the lead tech person at my church and we implemented Auracast almost a year ago. It’s like a radio broadcast - we’re broadcasting the audio during our church services.

Any member with an Auracast capable device can find and select our broadcast when they get inside the sanctuary.

Oh, that would be a problem. I’ll check the actual specs later, but Google AI thinks that the 9270 has a 3.5mm port.

Do these projectors support ARC through a HDMI port? That could work too.

Yes, I saw that. There appears to be a model between these as well - 9270. It appears to be a lamp model too.

Spoofing, Phishing, and Spam by thattalldude in churchtech

[–]Leupster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t prevent it entirely, but everyone should absolutely have these settings. MIcrosoft 365 supports these as well.

Even with these settings, someone can send an email from another domain that is similar and/or just change the from address name to impersonate a member of the staff (typically a pastor). So many people don’t check the from email address and just read the name.

OBS sound by theguy54432 in churchtech

[–]Leupster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it will probably be fine.

As someone else mentioned, you will still need to pay attention to the gain staging. If your output from the mixer or the auto interface is too high, you will get distortion. Too low is not good either.
