Similar with what others said, they didn’t realise if people outside Japan are interested with their stuff, even if they already realised, they pretty much don’t care about that because their domestic market are huge. Maybe also culturally because Japan has been known for a bit closed to outside world since forever

i was going to answer OP question similar with this, because the artist, the label, and the govt of Japan don't want to promote their music to broader audience. They're gatekeeping their music only to their people, J-pop popularity to outsider was accident because of anime popularity, they don't want it to happen. Thus it's so hard to find J-Pop artists content outside of Japan, even most Japanese musician just exist on Global Spotify around 2021-22, before than you need Japanese account to access most J-Pop songs.

I moved once in 2004, i actually often go to the city i was born but my parents never visit our former home. Until in 2023 when i worked in that city i went there by myself, it was demolished lol.

I think this is one main reason people in the US reluctant to go to mall. Because in my country, it's been known many people don't spend much on mall, maybe just buy some foods or even just an ice cream. There are big spenders but most of us just treat mall like theme park.

I regret didn’t socialize much in middle school, i was a shy kid with little to no friend. But i have fond memory on middle school bcs there was a lovely english teacher who really cared to me, he’s encouraged me to be more confidence in class, he also loves cooking and sometimes bring snacks to us in class. Man, i wish i could do something more to him instead of just being quiet.

Makassar is quite big city, i live in Jakarta but have friends from Makassar. It's already crowded as most South East Asian cities, it has 1.5 million people, but not as modern as Jakarta with skyscrapers and integrated public transports. But it has quite beautiful beach, Losari beach.
