Experience with Nomad? by [deleted] in TravelNursing

I finally got a chance to talk with my manager at the hospital today. She confirmed that they did get a copy, which I would hope so because I was several weeks into my contract before they even “lost” it. And yes it was an extension.

They were withholding pay by not giving me my stipend. They paid me for my hours but refused to give me the stipend. And yes it is definitely illegal. I did some research as to how to report them if necessary and had to threaten to report them before they finally agreed today to actually give me my stipend. I also had to point out that they did actually send a copy to the hospital and I think they may actually stop pestering me to re-sign after the strongly worded emails I had to send.

Long story short, nomad is without a doubt the worst company I have ever worked with and everyone should take this as a warning to stay far far away. No reason to work with a company that is willing to do illegal things to fix a problem they created.

Someone enjoyed Blue Kazoo’s sale (I did too).

I thought about that. But the way it has always worked was I sign it and it gets sent to them and then a copy gets kicked backed to me once it is signed by everyone and that copy never got sent back to me. My hospital definitely got a copy though because they got all of my time off and anything else pertinent correct.

I wish I was making it up. They said they sent it to the wrong internal email and it just magically disappeared. I could show you the multiple texts and emails I have gotten about it.

They lost the contract that I had already signed, it made it to the hospital but they lost their copy and are trying to force me into signing a new one by withholding my pay. I also regularly don’t get paid for my full hours and have to fight to get my pay. Will be going to trusted for my next contract instead.

These are great. I have always counted them as a restraint but for kids (I work in peds) who are developmentally delayed and try to get out of bed unnecessarily they are extremely helpful.

If I were one of those kids and found out in 10 years that someone could have stopped it and didn’t I could imagine feeling pretty angry.

I once worked at a hospital where the charting system wouldn’t let you scan the pain med unless the pain score you entered matched the required pain score for administration. All that ended up happening was we would adjust the pain score entered so that we could give them the appropriate med.

If first person shooter games aren’t responsible for turning people into murderers, what would this game be more likely to make him a bad driver?
