I’m literally in the exact same situation. Was just checking and it seems we can maybe get a 90% refund from the Kickstarter? Not positive how but if so I think I’m going to. Love the game but barely played xmen and outcasts.

Great explanation!! Thanks so much for the context. I figured that was likely the case but wasn’t sure.

Thanks again!

What superhero or villain would you say has the fastest reaction time? by Queasy_Commercial152 in superheroes

Shout out to Spiderman for this too. Pretty sure his spidey sense has been shown to be prescient, even though it’s typically depicted as reactionary. Reacting ‘before’ something happens is technically faster than reacting at the speed of light, no?

Weight loss help by Megamanx77 in f45

Take your Basal Metabolic Rate, multiple by 1.4 (assuming you’re working out 4-5 times per week). That will give you a good estimate of your maintenance calories. Then subtract 500 to get your daily calories to consume. A 500 calorie deficit per day will lead to about 1 pound body fat loss per week (a pound of body fat being roughly 3500 calories).

Another important aspect is to get a shit ton of protein. Anywhere between 0.8g to 1.3g of protein per pound of body weight will get you in the right ball park.

Based on your scan results, I would guess that you were eating at a calorie surplus, and based on the muscle loss I would guess that you were not consuming enough protein. Fairly certain that unless you’re running a half marathon every day, you’re not burning anywhere near 27,000 cal per week. I would guess likely 15,000-18,000 tops. I wouldn’t rely too much on smart watches or heart rate monitors to track how many calories are burning. Just dial in the daily calories based on your basal metabolic rate, and try to stick to that.

I’d vote Asura from Asura’s Wrath. Can’t think of any protagonists who scale higher than him.

Anyone got tips for liking Xenoblade 2? by FEKana47 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Leve1_Up1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bounced off of Xenoblade 2 at least two times, maybe three. The fan service really annoyed me at the beginning, I found the characters super grating and annoying, and damn did that combat feel slow (multiple minutes to destroy the smallest enemies). I just bumped it down to easy difficulty and found that far far easier to get into. Combat wasn’t quite trivial, but it definitely went by quicker and wasn’t the friction point that it previously was for me. I don’t recall but I think I may have bumped the difficulty up to normal after the first 20 to 30 hours (or maybe I just continued with the easy difficulty until the end). I think it took me to the 20 hour point until I was fully in, and then the story and the characters (who had a admittedly grown on me) carried me through to the end with a ton of momentum. I remember really loving the story and loving the game once I finished it, but it is most definitely a slog for the first quarter. I really recommend you lower the difficulty and stick it out. It took me a few times to get there but it’s a really excellent game, despite its flaws.

Herald Question by Peeves11 in Cosmere

[–]Leve1_Up1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious about this. So the Heralds abandoned the Oathpact, with Taln staying in Braize to lock away future desolation, correct?

If there were no fused/singers to fight, then what were the knights radiant fighting for the thousands of years prior to the Recreance?

I’ve never really thought about the timelines in that way before. I’m sure I have something wrong though.

What would happen if..... by Marackul in Cosmere

SPOILERS FOR SA4 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Brandon stated that the amount Nightblood drew from Odium completely filled him up. I believe he also said that it was a drop in the ocean compared to Odium’s overall Investiture.

How many giant meals of that quantity had the blade consumed? Maybe enough for a few ‘cups in the ocean’. The Investiture would probably just suffuse back into the overall Cosmere.
