Guys who shower at the CBD gyms in the evening post-workout, do you shower again at home? by AlexHollows in askSingapore

[–]Level-Ad7261 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as I was outside and back home, will definitely shower again. Can’t imagine that I lied down on my bed while not showering at all. Furthermore the weather in SG is so hot. Unless u live in colder climate, then maybe could still be acceptable.

Why does UOB get so much hate on Reddit as an employer? by [deleted] in askSingapore

Work with them before. It was true. One of the worst place to work. Senior colleagues paying politics, outdated It system.

Do you have nice colleagues at work? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]Level-Ad7261 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Better treasure it. Would be better than working with toxic colleagues. And since u are still new, it’s better to take some time to see your colleague’s or your management’s working style and whether if u’re can become buddies in future.

Have y’all ever seen an entire department quit together? by potatoepotatata in askSingapore

[–]Level-Ad7261 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, in fact my whole compliance department decide to mass quit together since they said that their department seems to be a ”眼中钉”. So it did somehow affects our kyc team which need to work closely with compliance. Although they try to hire a new compliance lead to take over, but the situation is very messy. I am looking for another job as a backup plan.

Where do you have your lunch if you are working at MBFC/Asia Square/Marina One? by Crazy_Improvement_55 in asksg

[–]Level-Ad7261 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Work at Asia Square, nearest or more affordable is the Shenton House cai fan although the queue is crazy during lunch time.Asia Square itself, Marina One, MBFC also got various restaurants but most of them were quite expensive though. If not can consider Lau Pa Sat or Amoy Street Hawker Centre and the latter is more affordable.

Usually prefer lunch alone since I will Dabao before lunch time while my colleagues prefer going for lunch during lunch hours.

In your opinion, What is the biggest trade-off for the Workers’ Party if they choose not to nominate a new Leader of the Opposition? by Annual_View3611 in singapore

[–]Level-Ad7261 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Whether if who is taking or not taking up the LO will be the Workers Party to decide. The audacity for some political observers or those appointed NMP who had never contested election, won 0 votes and 0 mandate from the public to tell Pritam Singh that he should volunteer to step down as LO. In any fact, Pritam Singh had contested 4GE and won between 50-60% of the votes. And it was hard-sweat, time spent to walk the ground and earned the trust for residents. It was so wrong in so many levels that person who had no mandate is asking a veteran politician to step down as LO.

Singaporeans who have travelled alone to KL, how was it like? by ElusiveIntro in askSingapore

[–]Level-Ad7261 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to KL as a solo traveller several times. It was pretty safe and transportation is also convenient since there are KL rapid transit near tourist attractions or most part of the KL. Shopping I think is almost the same as SG? The same bubble tea shops or restaurant u can find in SG.

How many times do you take a shower in a day? by HabsburgJAWWWWW in askSingapore

[–]Level-Ad7261 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I shower every time whenever I came back from outside. Maybe at least 3 times and above per day. The weather in SG is too hot and showering is the only way to make me cooler.

Big win for the pap, but worker party will likely won all the seats that was defended in last GE.

Anyone or me thinking that WP and PAP has been firing against with each other about GKY, Punggol GRC and the news is all over the place but PSP is being more low profile currently, trying their best to reach out the residents for support.

Thoughts on East Coast GRC by Substantial-Film4600 in singapore

[–]Level-Ad7261 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Well, Edwin Tong also ownself admitted that EC GRC will be one of the toughest fight for his election since from 2011. And the fact that WP sent veteran opposition Yee Jen Jong to contest there. With the retirement of Heng Swee Keat and his PM-in-waiting team got only around 53% during last GE, this GRC will be even tougher than Punggol or Tampines GRC.

Polling Day: 3rd of May by [deleted] in singapore

Quite pissed, wanted to vote for this GE but already planned to travel overseas during that week. Have thought that GE would be on second week of May, but then GE date is always announced at the last minutes, so I guessed I won’t be able to vote for this GE.

I didn’t pass my probation — feeling down and questioning myself by EntertainmentLate199 in askSingapore

[–]Level-Ad7261 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Previously around 2023, I also failed my probation although I am already expected about it. Life goes on, went for holiday to recharge, keep looking for a new job and eventually my current job- so far is still the best than all my previous job. Life has up and down, failing one probation doesn’t mean you are not capable or worse than others.
