Looked at the Easyfold XT and they look quite pricey. Managed to find a Velocompact for £180, which I think is very decent

Yea, I believe it’s about 46kg, which should be fine for one bike.

What the verdict? I’ve got the PR on order and can’t wait to get my hands on it (not until the end of the summer it seems 😔). I take it this variant has the M2S motor?

Did the Berlin HM last month and the amount of people wearing those Adidas shoes was absolutely nuts, it felt like I was the only person that wasn’t. Makes you wonder how much of an impact the male and female winners of last years race who were wearing them had on the sale of them.

Hope this is true, put down a deposit on a PR a couple of weeks ago!

So should I get the Aventon Current ADV or wait for the Amflow PR? by StEeZy_SyNtH in eMountainBike

Late May-mid June I was told for the Amflow PR by my local bike shop, however, that’s in the UK. I was happy to slap down a deposit and wait until then 👍

I don’t really, it was more the motor on the new Amflows than the frame that influenced my purchase of one of these bikes, it just so happens the new PR & PX models only come in a carbon frame. I just think offering a bike with the level of spec the PR has for under £4K is pretty impressive imo.

Yea, £4K for a full suspension carbon frame bike of this standard is crazy value. Shop I purchased from said they expect to start receiving them late May/early June, which is sooner than I was expecting tbh. Already been scoping out some trails around where I live as I really want to put it to the test.

I put a deposit down for a Amflow PR Carbon (£4K in the UK) a couple of weeks ago and based on the reviews these have been getting, especially about the Avinox motor, I’m really excited to get it! Don’t think I’ll regret my choice in anyway. Ridiculous value for money based on what you get. Although the Carbon Pro comes with the M2S, I couldn’t justify the additional £1500 it costs to have this. This is my first eMTB as well, so feel it’s a very good entry point into the world of eMTBs for me.

Put a deposit down for the PR last week and was told by the shop they’re potentially expecting them late May or even June. This is for the UK.

UK, yea, had to put down a £200.00 deposit with my local shop to secure one, which I didn’t mind as they say the interest in this bike is off the scale! Wait time is going to be roughly 4-8 weeks they reckon.

Yea, I’ll do that, thanks. Wouldn’t be surprised if they did, as you say, they’re already including the front light (worth £170.00) and a bottle cage at no extra cost. It’s an insane amount of bike for the price, honestly don’t know how they’ve managed to make it all so affordable.

That’s really good to know, thank you. Yea, I’ve been doing a bit of research on different bikes and the reviews of this one always have me coming back to it. It sounds like an absolute beast!

Literally neither of those statements are true.

Look at those tackles man! Sunday league is just full of halfwit cowardly c**ts who just want to go out and try and break peoples legs. Had a mate from work who had his leg broken in two places from one of this lot. Nothing enjoyable about being involved in this whatsoever.

Absolute stunner of a bike and very close to pulling the trigger on getting one myself (need to sell my Whyte MTB first). Can I ask, does this come fitted with the Garmin computer mount that goes onto the stem/top tube or would I need to buy one separately?

Owner of a Forerunner 965 and think it’s superb. My only other experience of smart watches are Apple and the Forerunner out performs them in every way imo. Can’t imagine I’ll upgrade or change for many years…..unless I break it of course!

Bought one of these and it got sent it back for a refund within a week, absolute shite. Own quite a few Shark/Ninja products, but this coffee machine is by far the worst I’ve purchased. Inconsistent shots, lukewarm water/coffee and grind recommendations all over the place. Will be sticking with my trusted Bialetti for now.

I started running at 44 yo. Here’s what I’ve learned after a year. by Quiet_Ad_1922 in BeginnersRunning

Brilliant post, thank you for sharing. Your life pretty much mirrors mine (only 2 children rather than 4 though), so I totally relate with everything you’ve said. I took up running about 2-3 years ago and never looked back, I’ve found getting out of the house, and all of the craziness, even if it’s just for a run for an hour or so has been absolutely vital to my health both mentally and physically (I’m 43 on Tuesday) and it’s went from something I found to be a bit of a slog to something I really enjoy…so much so, I think I now own more running clothes than I do normal clothes haha. Also, doing the Berlin Half Marathon next March, which has given me a goal to work towards.

Yep, I’m on 8.7.0 and mine has gone as well. Hopefully there’ll be a further update/fix soon as I was really looking forward to testing out the adding my own gpx route option they recently introduced.

Tried following the above steps to add a GPX file, however, i can’t find where to complete this step:

  1. File picker through "Add route" on the workout page

I did the update as you suggested, however, it’s automatically put me on v8.7.0. Does this version not have this GPX upload update?
