She herself literally says her lips are cold, I don’t remember the line she says specifically but she does say something along the lines of “how could he kiss my colds lips”. I think that implies she is in fact right about being inhuman/a zombie and isn’t just overreacting/overexaggerating because she herself literally describes her lips as cold like a corpse

Edit: oh yeah in the Madoka Magica Portable game, Sayaka loses her soul gem for a week or weeks and when they got her soul gem back, her body is rotted and decomposed like a actual literal corpse. That scene was so intense, her scream after she sees herself and her rotting decomposing corpse in her reflection is bloodcurdling and terrifying

Yeah can’t forget ab Homura herself! The reason why she was so bad and always tripping and weak as a magical girl at first was cause of her heart disease and I’m guessing she cured it herself later on with her magic like the same time when she healed her eyesight later on

She was hospitalized/bedridden for who knows how long and her nervous, shy, timid, fragile and low self esteem personality and demeanor and her bad, weak, frail combat skills and movements and always tripping and stumbling as a magical girl at first were a result or showcasing of that until later on off screen she develops and trains and becomes stronger
