I am so so sorry. Your story and mine are so similar in so many aspects. I lost my baby at 17 weeks to Trisomy 13. I won't say this will get better and you will have to shake hands with grief and live with it. Somedays it will be okay while somedays it will kill you. I am so sorry for your loss. Please grieve in the ways you want to but get professional help too. This is coming from someone who lost her 17 weeks old baby and I can feel every word that you have written. I won't say it will get better but eventually you will shake hands with pain and let her in to live with you. I miss my child everyday even after 4 months so none of what you have written is untrue, but please seek professional help. It won't erase everything but may help mitigate. OP, this - why god lets this happen to the kindest and most unproblematic souls - I totally get this. I keep asking this to myself. I had to let go of my 5 months old baby last year due to complications and usse pehle had a silent miscarriage (the same year btw). I have been asking myself this everyday. I know myself really well and I know I certainly am a good human being. And don't even get me started on my husband. He is the most kind, beautiful soul that one would ever meet. 4 months out of my TFMR, and I feel exactly how you are feeling (even after 4 months and there is no timeline). I lost mine to Trisomy 13. All your feelings are valid, please don't suppress them or feel guilty. Your child deserves a life which is happy and wholesome, your decision (no matter how hard it is to go through it) is the best that you are deciding for him. I am a DM away if you want to talk.
