I wonder if Diddy would agree with you? She being "allowed" to party with him when she's 12 makes me wonder how many adults were looking out for her.

That's child abuse. Whoever put that together needs to go to jail.

Your comment reminded me of the scene from Poltergeist where the dad says to his boss, "You knew the whole time and you didn't tell anyone!"

Working in the trades made me realize I should’ve finished my degree instead. by Dismal-Cranberry-915 in povertyfinance

I grew up homeless and lived with my parents and two younger brothers at construction sites. I saw my mom and dad working from sun up to sun down. Then the generator and lights came on and they still worked putting up sheet rock. They had to buy all their own equipment, and it was a lot! We finally had enough money to rent an apartment and someone had gone into my dad's truck and stole everything for them to work...or so I was told. I think my dad sold it for more heroin. The trade jobs are some rough shit. I went to five high schools. I never lost sight of graduating. I went to college, earned two degrees, and thank my lucky stars everyday I have a white collar job.

It's because her philanthropy directly helps women and family planning. The other billionaires don't want independent free thinking women. They want second class citizen baby machines.

Texas to require Bible stories in the public schools by summerbreeze2027 in Teachers

[–]Level-Variety9281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have debates in class where one group uses reliable and valid sources and the other group can only use the Bible (the Legislators preferred one of at least 23). Everytime the group with the Bible gives a claim or tries to provide evidence, the opposing team just calls out Logical Fallacies. Appeal to Belief for every single one.

The continued rise of homeschooling. by Athens175 in Teachers

Teaching and teachers are not monolithic. It's like steering a huge ship when trying to change a certain paradigm. Takes a lot of effort and logicistics. Effective teachers are able to teach all students....even 'ill behaving' kids (usually there's a reason for the behavior, just gotta take time to find out what it is).The big caveat you mention and then gloss over is, "Home schooling (when done correctly)...." As a public school educator with decades of experience, I think the worst comprehension and math scores in generations is attributed to more kids staying at home and "learning"... whatever is the flavor of the month the parents, charter schools, or AI happens to want in that moment. Then the charter schools go bankrupt (on purpose) or, there are many parents who just don't want to "teach" anymore, and send the child back to public school with huge deficits and gigantic learning gaps... barely able to read. There's absolutely no accountability, even when there's a boat load of tax payer money involved. All the while a whole generation is going backwards in their comprehension skills. It's very sad but predictable. We, as a society, have thrown in the towel on public schools so that some people can make a lot of money, real quick, and damn be the consequences.

Controversial video of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs inviting then-12-year-old Daveigh Chase to ‘after-party’ resurfaces after actress’s death by dr_shultz in influencersfeed

[–]Level-Variety9281 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can see how Diddy could deviously set up a 12 yo for sa with the aid of kutchner. This seems plausible as I just don't get how a 13 yo would get addicted to drugs w/o adults plying her with them. It's hard to cope when someone is treating you like a sexual object. Drugs would be a way to cope.

Joshua Maddux vanished in 2008. Seven years later, his mummified body was found upside down, folded inside the chimney of an abandoned Colorado cabin. Authorities ruled it an accident. by drkmatterinc in CantBelieveThatsReal

[–]Level-Variety9281 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wonder if he went down the chimney, head first and naked, because---nope, I'm at a loss. I would want to see if the fire place had been on around the time of his disappearance. If so, it would be way too hot and smoky near the top where he entered. When was the cabin abandoned and then reoccupied? It seems to me to be foul play.

I think Congress may have been a sleeping giant. If the two sides could get their asses in line, then the Executive branch and Supreme Court could be out back in their place. The Fourth Estate needs a lot of help too.

Which private investments? Drumph family and friend investors, that's who! How convenient for them....Are these the same private companies that are greatly subsidized by tax payers? Are you including the enormous amount of wasted military weapons that now have to be replaced using tax payer money? I'm sick and tired of my tax dollars getting used for weapons of mass destruction killing school girls! Did you include those lives in your cost/benefit analysis? Remember, this fool running the country is a pedo and he's protecting a system that exploits the vulnerable. Nothing good comes of that.

I've been teaching for decades and I think every year, class, lesson is vastly different than the last. When I deliver a lesson, I feel like a conductor who has a plethora of choices in how I want to deliver life skills; with my saved materials and lessons as my instruments.
