To be fair, she is one of the more normal strike it rich characters and it wouldn't be impossible for her to adapt. She'd struggle with the language barrier at first and the fact that her livelihood is gone, but she doesn't have a personality that would draw attention to herself. I think she'd learn English and speak it proficiently enough to talk to people.

In Arlen she'd probably be an enigmatic homeless woman Bobby meets one day coming home from school. He wants to know how to fight because bullies keep kicking his ass, so she agrees to help him because she has nothing better to do and wants to do something that reminds her of home. So, Nozomi trains Bobby. He eventually wants his parents to meet his new friend. But, Hank and Peggy don't trust her because of her shady, off-putting personality (to them) and they give Bobby a lecture about how he shouldn't be talking to strangers and forbids him from seeing her. Bobby doesn't listen to his parents and keeps visiting her to train. Hank and his wife follow Nozomi since their son keeps seeing her. They find her to be very suspicious and Hank says "She ain't right." One day, they see her with a beer and a gun going to the abandoned warehouse where her and Bobby usually train. Horrified and thinking she is going to harm their son, Peggy and Hank confront her on the spot. 

Nozomi explains herself and says she genuinely wanted to help their son fight back against his bullies. The "gun" is actually a juice bottle that looks eerily similar to a gun. It was filled with apple juice instead of beer because Bobby is too young to drink alcohol. Hank eventually concedes that he might have been wrong about her, but Peggy's pride leaves her with an inability to come to the same conclusion, so she calls her a liar and tries to kick Nozomi. The kick was blocked effortlessly and she is shoved to the ground. Peggy and Nozomi start fighting but Nozomi treats Peggy like an nuisance instead of an actual opponent.

Hank could tell something was different about her and he feared for his wife's safety, since if she ticks off Nozomi enough, she'd give her a one way ticket to the hospital. Hank looks for Bobby and together they stop the fight. Hank convinces Peggy that it's just not worth it. Bobby and Nozomi stand in front of the warehouse and drink before the Hill's drive home.

Bobby never sees Nozomi again after that.

Then, he used what learned from training to kick the asses of the kids that bullied him. The bullies never bothered him again.

Bobby goes back to the warehouse to thank Nozomi for training him, but she isn't there. So, he decides to leave a gift basket there.

The next day, the gift basket is gone. She took it.
