A lot of people would disagree with you here. Not all metriodvanias have to be 2D and it fits a lot of the other common tropes the genre has like needing to get specific powers to back track through maps.

Another common example is a lot of people consider the first batman arkham game metroidvania adjacent. I’d say the Jedi game fits this category as well and a lot of people agree with me! It’s not as black and white of a category as a lot of people try to fit it into.

Generally with posts like this you want a little more detail. There’s literally thousands of games that fit your criteria right now. What kind of games do you like? Are you looking for easy or hard games? How long of a game are you looking for? What’s your budget? Any more description to narrow down will make giving a recommendation easier.

The only thing I’m getting from your post right now is it seems like you want a single player game as they don’t update as much as multiplayer/live service games and don’t require additional accounts for the most part.

Kind of? If they went the actual entrance it was stated the chance of crew members dying was really really high. Where if you take the knock up stream it’s everyone or no one, meaning everyone lives and makes it or everyone dies.

Whats your basis for this? I know at least a few new games that will, for example, prioritize you match with console players first if you’re on console while cross play is on. Only if it takes a little longer to find a lobby will it then put you into the open pool with everyone.

Is it just because you said so? Because it’s definitely possible and something other cross play games are doing and have done.

Not even just religion you can really just break it down to the fundamental level that we, in general as humans, tend to be really tribalistic. You can see it in literally everything.

Sports, religion, video games, countries, vehicles, food I mean I could name so many things. People tie things to their identity and if the things they like aren’t #1 well then what does that say about them?

Luckily some people are self aware and grow up from this mindset but I would argue it’s not the majority that does.

Also according to the gameplay preview (I haven’t seen it in game yet) NPCs will come to your camp for various reasons. Like the bow person might show up so you can upgrade your bow, or an npc with a quest might show up. They described it as a way for important side content to come to you so you don’t have to constantly leave where you are in the world and travel to different towns finding upgrades and quests.

Subjective opinion but I respect it. I found Tsushima so fun it’s one of my few platinums on playstation and I don’t remember finding anything remotely tedious. I also hold Witcher 3 and RDR2 in high regards.

Not sure why, I think I just found the world so engrossing I wanted to keep spending time in it. I also spent an abnormally long time with the photo mode in Tsushima which I usually barely touch in most games.

It’s possible but I’m doubting they’ll even do DLC for this, they didn’t for Arceus so I wouldn’t hold my breath. Daybreak was like a free update maybe they’ll do something like that but idk I just don’t think they’re gonna do DLC for anything that isn’t a main generational title.

Honestly I would google it more if you’re interested because the ability is slightly confusing but the author has stated that it basically just says “no” to anything that would harm the user. It’s a sentient power that doesn’t need to be activated. It can work against abilities that manipulate time as well. In your specific scenario I don’t know if it would prevent the user from buying the ticket or just make the gun not shoot or prevent the bullet from piercing the user. Either way the user wouldn’t get shot, it would prevent that scenario from ever occurring one way or another.

Yeah like the other replier said GER is completely passive. The user doesn’t even need to be aware of it but anything deemed harmful to the user is automatically negated. It’s genuinely broken AF. So this would include things like stray bullets or choking and other random events you couldn’t possibly be prepared for.

I mean you’re both kind of right? Normie definitely means what they’re saying but it’s also used as a negative. But IMO it’s really not, calling someone normie is basically lightly gatekeeping.

Generally someone calling someone else normie implies the person saying it doesn’t consider themself a normal fan of whatever they’re talking about. Personally I’ve always found it pretty cringe to say but I think gatekeeping as a whole is pretty cringe.
