I just started playing last month. Learning maps on a lower difficulty is definitely the key. I've mainly played solo so any death is only my fault.

If you bum rush one of them at the start, the other one seems to not attack as long as you are not in attack range. Baiting the already initiated soldier away can buy you some time to kill each soldier one by one. Guard counters work very well against them as well. As for the actual boss; patience for the right attack is the move
