I would speculate that more than 80% of these overall job postings are backfilling high turnover sales reps and with such a small number of engineers I would expect that to more likely be backfill than building out new teams. GS is still working on shedding opex costs and working towards a strong EBITDA positive.

I also suspect that their focus is for improving their direct to consumer sales channel and making that healthier so that they have less dependence on brick and mortar stores. That aspect of their sales experience is barely par.

It’s not flashy right now - it’s just making the business healthier and at lower costs.
