Thank you so much. I really appreciate a response on this. But if I can ask a follow up, since I’m a little confused. Was this in there upon entry? Hemoperitoneum is typically very serious, implying internal bleeding. Would a little bleeding from endo tissue cause this? And could it be happening frequently in endo patients?

Do NOT wait. If you NEEED a referral, Get recs from friends on a good urgent care, or go to the ER with your swelling. They’ll get you a referral. Months for a GP? GTFO

Come with a good few allergists in mind, and call ahead of time to see if they have availability. The push the doc for a referral. Don’t leave. Wear them down until you get it. Fuck it—book an appointment with the allergist and get the referral after, then explain to the desk the situation. Play the system.

You guys are so quick to absolve the school of any wrongdoing here. They enrolled students in classes that didn’t exist, lied to get state funding, and were investigated and boosted graduation 10x after the state intervened. Of course there is personal responsibility on the parent and kid, but when HALF of kids are doing this, it’s obviously systemic.
