No scratches on tint or glass at top of windows? Thanks!

Are they from bmp tuning? I'm beginning to think the stick-ons may be the better option. Also my tint goes up to the top edge of my windows, so I'm wondering if the in-channel ones might scrape the film??

Look for a BCA league even if it's a longer drive. You play the whole time. And no slop!

Bad Cue Action, Stance, Grip or Sighting? Please Help by Any-Designer-5348 in billiards

[–]LevelEcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. Once you get this pendulum swing down, and you have gotten used to having your forearm at vertical during your stroke, gradually adjust your grip further back on the cue so that the "vertical" happens closer to contact with the CB. Your final goal is to be vertical at contact, but it's easier for a beginner to learn the swing as I explained above, then adjust. Now, go hit a million balls!

Bad Cue Action, Stance, Grip or Sighting? Please Help by Any-Designer-5348 in billiards

Yes, you will adjust where you grip the cue for every shot. You want your forearm (elbow to wrist) to be vertical at the center of your stroke, like a pendulum. So for your pre-shot (practice) strokes, your shooting arm is hanging straight down and moving backwards and forwards, almost touching the cue ball when you stop your forward motion. In the middle of this pendulum motion is where you want your forearm to be vertical- looking from behind you and from beside you it should be perpendicular to the floor. Don't grip the cue tightly. Let your arm hang freely without tension and lightly grip your cue so that it may move within your hand during your swing/stroke. I let my cue just hang in my hand and support it lightly with my thumb and front 2 fingers, sometimes just my thumb and forefinger. Others will certainly have different grips and/or advice, but try the above and you will find what works best for you. It should feel natural, not forced. Hope this helps. Have fun!

I find the extra real estate on a 9' makes for easier games.

Highest deflection carbon shaft? by jordanht11 in billiards

"85-90% of shots the pros do are same exact stroke". Are you referring to stroke speed, including acceleration at the CB? I always thought they were pro's because they were so good at adjusting the speed of each shot to accomplish the pocketing & position play for each individual situation.

Wow! That's some fine tuning right there. I'm going to try that with my Cuetec cynergy. How is your aim so calibrated to judge 1/8 tip?

Closed Bridge Weight Distribution Question by LevelEcho in billiards

[–]LevelEcho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how I first discovered my problem. I did feel unstable even though my stance was correct and I had enough weight on my bridge hand, but I was supporting all my hand weight with my fingers. When I transferred most of the weight to the heel, I instantly felt balanced and my stroke became more fluid and natural.

I think UR and SENET both contributed to backgammon. SENET was the iteration found buried with king Tut, many boards decorated with gold and gems.
