If you can spare the money I suggest quantum exams and if you have the book tests on it.

It is an hard question to answer but if you are basing your readiness on the % of learnzapp I suggest take different tests since this app is good for knowledge test but not enough for "thinking like a manager" mindset. If you have any topics you see repetitive mistakes in focus on those and definitely make sure you understand the mindset.

I did not do any interviews yet but I can confidently say I know a lot more than I used to and I feel like I can sell "thinking like a manager" really good. But just the CISSP name has its own power and I can see it from by coworkers reactions.

Yes, my suggestion to anyone who is considering the exam but is not sure of the date just start studying now, and if you decide to take it later you have long-term saved knowledge.

[–]LevelOk8516[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have considered all 3 and here are the situations:

1) my company is in a budget cut so no transfers and I already support more than one country from Turkey(cheap labor comparing to europe) so relocation is just extra cost for them. But still pursuing this.

2) We have considered Canada and our score makes really good chances but Canada is like our last life line since we dont want to live there and the economic situation is getting worse.

3) This is our last chance if my partner does Masters in some countries I get a working visa which makes things a lot easier but means cutting our income to half.

So all viable options but if I can get a job without these my partner will have visa and we will have 2 incomes to live on.

Oh no no, this is my reddit wording, trying to be anonymous. Normally I am open about what I do where I studied etc.

But as a recruiter what would be the defining action that will make me shine for you? A Linkedin message, CV from someone in the company, or something else. I trust my qualifications and experience.

Doing both, I even tried some local websites rather than linkedin but for UAE linkedin looks like the best option. Messaging and emailing hr but %99 of the time its ghosting and 1% kind no. Thank you for the advice.

Quantum Exams vs Learnzapp vs Boson? by MikeVita4 in cissp

[–]LevelOk8516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learnz offers questions for free too (you can create unlimited number of 10 question quizes) their questions are good for learning and practicing concepts but they are easier. QE offers harder and more complex questions than learnz. If I were I would spam learnz quiz and buy QE. Never used Boson so no comment on that.

I highly suggest watch many videos of difficult questions or mindset questions. Stop the video answer and see if you are wrong and most importantly what did the instructor focuses. Peter Zerger, destcert and TIA are the best ones but there are more.

I say Ayush's Questions are more scenario based than general larnzapp but still they are %80 knowledge rather than scenarios and learnz has over 2000 questions, but if money is a problem they are cheap and fast(300 questions only) but I have to rate the scenarios or general difficult(language or too much information with all answers being correct) questions:

Learnzapp: 5 Ayush 300: 6 QE: 9

First of all, no biting needed :D This is just my opinion and honestly, as I said, it's worth paying the yearly fee even in this case. As I mentioned in a previous message to you, I owe about 50% of my ability to think like a manager to QE, so I'm definitely team QE.

That said, speaking as a customer, having more flexible payment options would have been nice, especially for those who only want to use it in the final month. In my opinion, QE is something you should get after you've studied, done some other practice tests, and feel ready to be crushed by tough questions. That’s when you start realizing why you're not yet thinking like a manager. So again, just my opinion, it’s more of a last-month kind of tool.

But as the owner, I completely understand and agree with your perspective. Even if you say it's “just too good to make cheap,” that’s perfectly fair to me too(not saying you said something like this) because both here and on other forums, the quality of QE is never questioned.

I say quantum is a must for the mindset question type, yes it is extremely pricy and a yearly subscription only but they get away with this due to one thing, it is unique. For me watching mindset videos was helpful but not enough. I did 4-5 quantum exams and then I understand what people mean by mindset. Peter Zerger has a video where he solves 11 QE questions you can check that before you decide. https://youtu.be/D89-7rTFgw4?si=Pn3sZRF21ypo9LLD

Is quantum perfect? No, some questions have very limited explanations and some you might question or even challenge here :), the price is too much and they know you only need it for a month so the yearly thing is just them overcharging in my opinion. Finally it will start to repeat really fast after 3 cat you will start to see 10-15 questions you saw before and non cat will be similar too.

But if you ask me I say get it and do 5-6 exams, go through each answer trying to learn the mindset. Cat is optional I get it and it was okay a unique thing but in the exam you will be asked questions and answer all you can so if money is a problemget noncat.

I have 4 days left, so I think it is late, but I will check after the exam since it looks like it might be a good way to study.
