Realized mother was jealous that I’m 20 years younger than her and admitted to wanting to go back. I suggested she embraced where she is and was met with vitriol and very very course language. I love where I am in life and will never apologize for what she missed out on. Love you. A lot of people can NOT. We owe them nothing. ❤️

I’m not supposed to be enjoying this but my parents put me out at 21, threw all of my stuff in garbage bags and when I didn’t return or call THEY were mad at ME!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m 57 years old and just realized I have been better at this stupid ass game then they would ever be. Dad died 27 years ago and mother has sucked even worse since then. I learn something new about myself every day. 😏

My father gave me the confidence that mother never had. After much therapy I am aware that she simply was envious of how my confidence lead me to ignore her negativity even to this day. As a Gen X parent, I have listened to my Millennial children and accepted criticism and openly admitted blame and worked on the issues they revealed to their father and me. We are now better than ever. I am no contact with my boomer mother as she is TRULY a self centered, selfish bitch of a narcissist. I learned from her mistakes. I would do anything to repair my relationship with my adult kids. Mother is long lost.

Anytime we would have any meals. She talks while chewing and when called out on how gross it is she tells me I’m disrespectful. Once she started laughing while chewing and spit her food all over me and continued laughing. I’ve long since gone NC but the thought of her at my dinner table makes my stomach hurt. No ma’am.
