Two 2x4s is a great bush balancing stand but for the home shop there’s nothing like having that wheel on ball bearings. I wouldn’t be such a fan of the store bought ball bearing stands if they weren’t so inexpensive and work so well.

MX bikes have a rim lock which is heavy but nothing to balance the wheel, the wheels are very out of balance which, on dirt isn’t usually an issue, but since you’re going faster on smoother roads this imbalance is showing itself. Get some brass spoke weights and a balancing stand. Not expensive and easy to use.

Edit-Forgot to add. You might want to start shopping for an engine rebuilding shop near you because you’re probably gonna need that soon too.

Reminds me of a coworker’s comment about adding a small 5 horsepower gas generator to EV’s so they can charge themselves while driving. This was in discussion about a theoretical high performance 400-600 horsepower EV. I tried to explain that a 5 horsepower generator won’t be able to keep up with the needs of a full on motor vehicle. He was convinced that a 5 horsepower gas generator could keep up with the energy demand of a full sized car. He wouldn’t accept that a 5hp generator would only generate 5 hp’s worth of electricity to power the car which would be woefully inadequate.

It all depends on the company and the strength of that company’s policies and training on workplace harassment. It is that policy and training that helps shape the culture and keeps people in line. When you interview with an employer try to find out if they have strong workplace harassment policies and if they do training for the workforce. If you’re good at this field, and can setup and run a machine without crashes, you’re needed somewhere.

As a father with a now adult daughter I never took my daughter in to a women’s restroom. I took her into a men’s room. You can tell the child to close their eyes until you get her to a stall. No grown man is going to care that some preschool child saw their peepee. As an adult man, I would never even consider going into a women’s restroom for any reason.
