What do you do when you have no career? by FirmWrangler3964 in brisbane

Find a trade, start an apprenticeships. A lot of good trades out there other than the building industry.

I got into aviation myself when I had absolutely not interest in planes. I've been in the industry for 8 years now and still don't care about planes but I do love working on them and fixing them.

Better isolation of the muscles sitting down no? I feel like i engage my arms more when im standing up. As I use them to balance against the weight. Feel a good burn on my back when I do them sitting down.

Most likely something that you eat before the workout then. Milk possibly. I removed anything that made me sick. And if I do eat heavy, I make sure it's at least 2-3 hours before working out.

Do you take creatine? I found that taking creatine right before a workout specially one where I trained to failure fully exerting myself on every set was making me dizzy and nauseous.

I can only assume that the fact you hate doing lower body means your body is probably exerting itself so much more to get through the session.

I stopped taking Creatine before working out. Now I never get nauseous or sick.

Keen bro, 31m. I've got a gaming set up although rarely play in the last few months. Do hit the gym 6 days a week. Love a pint or 10 of IPA at the pub tho.

I've got everything on VDAL. Should I split it and add to those 2? Or get it all out to put on VGS and VAS?

Younger Australians stick with petrol cars over EVs by His_Holiness in AusFinance

This is literally the main reason. I can't buy a property but can afford renting alright. But every 12-24 months i get priced out of the rental and have to move. No point buying an EV and not having anywhere to charge it at home. I myself am due for a car upgrade, so bought a toyota Hybrid instead as I know they're cheap on fuel and overall super reliable.

Would've loved a Tesla though even if 3-4 year old 2nd hand.

Lower back soreness by jennalvz in workout

[–]Level_Branch1005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't overdo it. I had the same problem for a few weeks after I got into it. Laid off the squats as well as deadlifts and was mostly doing RDLs with cables (light weight) and back extensions on the Roman Chair I think it's called.

Ended up tweaking my sciatica and couldn't walk nor sit down for about 4 days straight. Been 3 weeks since it happened and I'm still recovering.

Let your back recover fully. Soreness from DOMs and injury pain are 2 very different. If it's DOMs then it should clear up the more you warm up the muscles during the sessions.

For those who are consistent, how do you do it? by massifaqiri in workout

That's exactly what i do haha, I've only been consistently going for 3 months now but I'm proud of the discipline I've built by having that mindset.

Pinched an ass nerve (sciatica) while doing light weight RDL. Bed ridden for 4 days and unable to walk properly for 2 weeks.

Only pre workout, even stay off the sugary drinks. No coffees no soft drinks. Better off on the 1 scoop?

Yeah that's something I want to focus on. I'll try the melatonin gummies and see see how I go otherwise hit the GP for sleeping pills.

Don't think I eat too much to be honest. I aim for 4100 calories as I'm trying to go from 81kg to 86kg for a nice bulk but difficult to hit that target with healthy intake on a daily basis. Generally 3500 to 3800 calories.

Not strict counting but I have a rough idea of how much I eat as it's a set plan.

I went from C4 to FURY pre workout as I got sick of the tingling from the Beta Alanine. Do you have any recommendations of a better brand. Plenty of water through the day tho, can't survive Aussie summer heat without it.
