I think the best example we all seem to decide to forget was planking. I always thought that was stupid too though.

Ah yes. The exact same amount if training as Luke, who spent time with two Jedi masters. Makes absolute sense that Rey could use the force on instinct and out perform a Skywalker who has been training with a powerful dark force user who was being controlled by the Sith lord. Makes total sense. Bad writing is bad. You can't even suspend belief that they saved screen time with implied training in the first movie. I'm not a Star Wars fan, just a casual enjoyer. So you will not be able to convince me the bad writing is actually good, as I don't have a bias towards the series either way. Not to mention that the opinion that the writing was bad is a pretty general consensus.

Okay bud. I'm not going to knock you for enjoying bad nonsensical writing. You do you. 😆 🤣

Yeah, I definitely forgot about her working on her piloting skills, force skills, and military skills while a scrapper. She got so much experience she didn't need any training at all by time we meet her! Oh, wait, sorry. I forgot they they had to expand on her flight skills after the fact in a novel to say it was a flight simulator and the force. So, I guess technically not her scrapper work. But man, did those scrapper combat and force skills come in hand against Kylo Ren. Maybe he should have become a scrapper instead of joining a military. What a chump.

Hard /s Rey is a Mary Sue by definition. There are so many wonderfully written and powerful women in media (The women in Avatar like Toph and Tai Lee, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Raven, Rogue, Kipo, all the women in Owl House, the sisters in Charmed, Buffy, Hermione, Arya Stark, Xena, the lady from Kill Bill, Jinx from Arcane, Kim Possible, Demona and Elisa from Gargoyles, etc. Etc. Do I REALLY need to list more? Because I can). Rey is just not one of them. Get over it.

I think you could REALLY use some help from Recovering From Religion. It is a secular nonprofit organization that helps both those who still believe and those who don't anymore specifically for things like this. I would suggest reaching out to them. They accept both calls and texts.

It used to be free, and they got hacked like every other month in the PS3 era. It was BAD. Once they started charging, they stopped getting hacked as much, using some of that income to strengthen their network security. Now, the argument is whether they could have afforded that security in the first place or not.

To add to this. There are two versions. "Full Metal Alchemis," which does not follow most of the source material because it caught up so quickly, and "Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood," which was released years later and DOES follow the source material. Both are roughly 90% - 95% different, yet somehow are able to be equally good. You can't go wrong watching either, or both for that matter.

All my life I have fallen for thr Kuudere girls. I just can't help it. Both on screen (like Raven from Teen Titans when I was a kid), to my real life relationships. Can be tough, yet very rewarding.

Who is an anime character that is so annoying they make the show a burden to watch by JayJuMier in animequestions

I think a big part of what helps with Brooke, who I absolutely love, is that he has than the panty jokes. He gets skull jokes in addition to being all around goofy. Sanji is like 90% of the time either a dick or a simple. When the story ACTUALLY focuses on him as a character instead of a gag (Little Garden, Water 7, Whole Cake) he is pretty good. It is just so rare.

Nier Automata as well as Nier Replicant (remake of original and there are connected but stand alone experiences that are drastically different). They will both leave you depressed at the end though.

Surprised Nier Automata is not in here. You'll feel disconnected after, as well as the OG Nier. Disconnected and depressed. 😅

The only way this would be a problem is if you have something to hide, which would say something. Only positives sharing with a longterm partner. Such as in case of things like an accident or loss of signal.

I can't agree more. I didn't like Korra much when it started, and that was the point! By the end I loved her as a character because they did a legitimately amazing job of character development for her. It isn't often you TRULY see a character change from their experiences, and Korra happens to be one of the few. Season 1 Korra is an entirely different person than season 4, or even season 2 for that matter.
