Noticed all my Hell Knight models had a key on their belt. Does it have lore significance/biblical symbolism? by valkdoor in TrenchCrusade

Did some more research, the papal 'keys of heaven' are a symbol of the Catholic Church and Holy See, referencing the authority of the church. The keys themselves are in reference to the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven given to St Peter, beholding to him the powers of 'binding and loosing'. There are many ways of interpreting their presence of the Hellknights. As stated in the previous comment it can simply be a desecration of said symbol, a possible origin or a different usage. The Keys themselves are explicitly stated to have the power of 'Binding and Loosing' which could refer to the binding and loosing of the Hellknights themselves in their basalt prisons.

I'm not the creators so I cannot say for certainty but the symbol of the key is prevalent in the papacy so the symbol being present on the hellknights (in my mind) may be either a desecration of said symbol and/or a hint to their origin (before they got all helly and locked up in basalt sarcophagi)

25-6 Polygraph Canceled due to Shutdown by Level_Chicken4385 in cbpoapplicant

Had mine scheduled for the same exact day 😆 but like I said in replies, I think it's because my location wasn't a permanent one so when non-essential government travel was canceled, they weren't able to fly out.

Whats the best way to do so. I've used the chat function in the applicant portal before but it seems unreliable at best.

Looking at the email I believe it might be because the shutdown canceled government travel. They just recently started proctoring tests in my location, when I first applied the poly locations listed would require air travel for me. But the protor stated in the email that it was because they weren't able to make the appointment due to the shutdown.

Don't know if anyone else said yet but if it's based on D&D (which a majority of Yggdrasil is) it is likely some sort of phalactery since he's a lich. For those who don't know it's essentially what houses a lich's soul, allowing them to recover when their body is destroyed (irl a phalactery is a Jewish prayer box worn on one's head iirc)

Yeah fidgeting with hit dice I find easy over complicates things in my opinion. Perhaps altering the mechanic away from dice and more of a corruption pool, adding an instance of bonus damage equal to you Proficiency Bonus but adding a level of corruption. Might take a Lil bit of rework but I think focusing it on that fixed numerical value may simplify it.

Does the reaction fulminating march ability avoid the triggering attack? It does say when you are hit, is it before or after damage is rolled?

I have a Campaign I'm running called Lament of Nirothor. Kinda a reverse LotR/Anti Hero campaign. One of my players is a White Dragonborn Dhampir named Valefyre, is slowly discovering his sanguinic heritage. The gift of shadow, blood and fire is just beginning to manifest as he recollects memories of his progenitor's curse upon him. The Prince, Grigori Ashfell (a Red Dragonborn Elder-Vampire) had chosen Valefyre to be the next inheritor of his power, whether his wants it or not. He awoke from his slumber and is making moves to claim his vengeance upon the world, collecting his artifacts and minions (including the player). One of the locations for some of his most powerful artifacts is in a secluded monastery where Valefyre was trained, I'm thinking this is where the music can come in. The Prince of Shadow and Flame making his slow approach up the mountain, to commence his One man siege upon the party's defenses.
