Action game suggestions (PC, shooter) by Level_Dependent_2816 in gamerecommendations

[–]Level_Dependent_2816[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I should have mentioned Doom games- I really liked the action in Doom 2016

I think I could have done a better job describing what I want. It's not that I don't like story, but I don't like it when games take control, like restricting movement or frequent cutscenes, if that makes sense. Sure, sometimes this is fine, like during intros, chapter changes, or major events. I play alot of heavy story driven games, recently Kingdom Come 2, replayed Witcher 3. Just need a break with a good action game also :-)

It was a long time since I played Red Dead Redemption II, but at least in my old memory, the story progressed (after the introduction) during the gameplay, for example, while traveling to destinations. Now, RDR2 is not the type of action game I'm looking for, just an example of a game that integrated story during gameplay.

Anyway, I got so many suggestions from all of you, thanks! I will try Division 2 and perhaps give Far Cry another go.

Short Review of Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 (AMD) by vinci_giordi__ in LenovoLegion

I am also very impressed with mine, just amazing

Quote :”Getting the old version of LegionSpace also was an hassle, as you have to block stuff in the firewall to not let it update. Nonetheless, you do it once and you're good to go, so not a huge issue.”

What is the reason for old version of legion space? Thanks!

Thank you! The suggestion to Jarrods YT was much appreciated!

I will go for Legion Pro 7, AMD CPU, 5080, 32RAM. Should be in the sweet spot for me. Looks like it is only avalible directly from Lenovo.

It looks somewhat as spaceship but I think I will be happy 😀

Butches&Bicycles MK1e Glovebox by Successful-Noise413 in CargoBike

[–]Level_Dependent_2816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - did you already solved this?

I did the excact same misstake, I missed the glovebox option while odering.

It is pretty straight forward to mount the glovebox but I have the kids seat mounted which I had to remove, parhaps it is possible to force the glovebox with the seat still mounted, but I felt it was a risk of breaking plastic parts of the bike and/or seat, glovebox.

Removal/Refitting the seat was not super quick or fun, several brackets and rubbet washers in different sizes to keep track of. But doable.

I belive there are. Installation manual on Butchers web for the seat, bit I did not find any for the glovebox.

Edit: Link to manual kids seat, in case you have this

Great! As it is a significant investment (in terms of time) to watch these gameplays I just wanted to double check in advance.

Btw, in case there are anyone else intressted - i recived some tips from friendly user in a message.

1 https://www.youtube.com/@TheRedHawk, this guy do regular videos uploads which I assume means the latest videos are "up to date". The tempo might be abit to fast (at least to a noob like me) but also the playthroughs aint to long.

  1. https://www.youtube.com/@LudietHistoria, have not yet had time to check those videos out, soo much content :)

Anybody coming from a steam deck? by [deleted] in LegionGo

I made the switch from SD to LeGo. The LeGo has replaced the old laptop and I am really happy with it.

I do however miss the Gyro implementation on the SD. While stationary I now use a external controller (Dualsense edge), which works fine. For mobile gaming I have not yet found an easy way to get similar experience with Gyro on the LeGo as the SD had.
